Ahmadinejad's hard line stance on nuclear power can be claimed to be a factor in the election of Obama. American "blinked". Obama has already gone to the Middle East to apologize for America, and give Iran the green light to continue in its efforts to build nuclear weapons.
Since the Iranian people have gotten everything they wanted under President Ahmadinejad, why would they throw him out of office?

Protests in Tehran’s Valiasr Square, where Mir Hossein Mousavi’s headquarters are located, have for the most part been broken up by police, Press TV reported June 13. There are reports that some motorcycles and trash cans are still on fire, and that some sign posts have been vandalized.
With any luck, they are regrouping...
All those Fauxbama supporters were poised to claim the great change in Iran due to the messiah. They actually believed that there would be fair elections in Iran. That’s not too naive is it? Kind of sums up the one’s foreign policy.
