MANY PEOPLE in the field of genetics are mourning the murder of Dr. George Tiller as the loss of a personal friend. I'm one of them. I first met George in 1987 at a conference of the National Society of Genetic Counselors, where I was executive director for 18 years until 2005. He and his incredibly loyal staff - whom he treated with great generosity - had developed a procedure that provided excellent medical care but also respect and emotional support to the women who came to him for help.

I wonder if someone murdered a Tobacco Executive who obviously has made a living killing many thousands, would so many be willing to excuse the murderer.
Just reading the most vague description of a late-term abortion makes me blanch. One would have to go back to stories of Nazi killings to find similiar horrors... oh, wait...

Oh, yeah, all the “gentle men” I know like to hack up unborn babies, makes their day and proves that they are caring individuals because they saved the mother from having to actually deal with a baby!/SAR

I guess we could say the doctor got a taste of his own medicine. How many innocent babies did he kill during his years as an abortion provider? I still think the shooter should be put to death but I won’t lose any sleep over the two of them.

absolutely ,,, Tiller’s usual method was to kill the baby with an injection of a heart drug followed by a normal delivery... absolutely no advantage to the “mother” to deliver the baby dead over the baby being alive... NONE
Of course the “intact D&E”/”partial birth” abortion has the advantage of higher prices for the body parts as the baby is killed at the last second the parts are “fresher”...
I am sure lots of Germans considered Josef Mengele a nice guy and loyal to his staff, as well.
