Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin called on the public to rise up in opposition over David Letterman's "degrading" jokes about her daughter this week.

"I would hope that people really start rising up and deciding it's not acceptable."
BS from ABC. She said she hoped for people rising up to this kind of perverted humor harming all girls.
ABC of course makes it sound as if Palin is petty and revenge seeking.

I agree with her, however, she won’t want to be remembered for railing against a schmuck like Mr. Letterman.

This may be taking it too far on her part - up to now, she’s been totally correct with her response, but then she should have backed away and let the pundits keep the controversy going. By personally calling for a “uprising” she looks like Al Sharpton, milking this for all it’s worth.
Why should she give Letterman a break? I wish more people would stand up against this type of depraved, indecent behavior. It’s become socially acceptable and even “cool” for people to have no manners or common decency. I am sick of it, personally.
Imus can’t say ‘nappy headed ho’s’ but this clown can make sexual jokes and get away with it, because they are directed against an opponent of the PC establishment.
Anyone who advertises on Letterman should be boycotted as well.

She isn’t taking anything “too far”. She didn’t call for an “uprising against Letterman to avenge her daughter”, but called on people to stand in for decency and against exploitative remarks that harm all girls.
No one in the Republican Party has the courage or the sense to take any action unsanctioned by the Leftist media.
Because the only national republican with any balls is female.
