Well, the big story yesterday was the nut job who attacked the Holocaust Museum, killing a guard. If anything is a “hate crime,” this is, though I don’t think that means he should be punished more harshly. Yes, it’s traumatic for those who appropriately hold the museum in high regard, but he should be punished for the act, not his state of mind at the time.
Of course, the slander has already begun. Not of him, but of “right-wingers” and “conservatives.” The standard media template — that he was a white Christian “right-winger” — has been trotted out, and the DHS report from last January has supposedly been vindicated. I just heard Ralph Peters, who I would have thought knew better, call the guy a “right-winger” on Cavuto.
But what in his bio makes him “right-wing”?

Paul was a Roman originally named Saul. He persecuted new Christians and held the coats of the men that stoned Stephen. He changed his name when he became a believer. He was beheaded because he was Roman. Jews were crucified. Or boiled in oil.

I doubt some 90 year old guy will go by the handle ‘wannabegeek’ and talk like a teenager in his posts (with html formatting). It looked like he happened to be the one who posted one article by that nut.. but that is like saying I am secretly Dan Rather because I posted an article written by him...

This is a conservative website, we post all kinds of articles so of course there may have been discussion about him if there was an article. Is Ariana a FReeper? She is very popular here also. Her name is all over FR.
Yet, if the left promotes those kind of people, how come they rush to blame him on right wing people? He is one of their card carrying team.
