New York City plans to trap and kill as many as 2,000 Canada geese this summer in an attempt to avoid the type of collision that caused an airliner to ditch in the Hudson River.

migratory Canadian geese...
Some are, some aren’t. There are areas around Seattle where they are there, but gave up all the migration BS, and are now pretty much permanent residents.

PETA would just put the geese in their vans, kill them themselves, find dumpsters behind private buildings, and put them there.
Giving the geese over to PETA is a CERTAIN death sentence. If the NYC government tries it, there’s a chance some of the geese will get away and survive.

This is OUT OF SEASON! If I killed 2000 geese for crapping on my lawn like they do I would have a fine of 1000 x 2000 which equals 2 million dollars .
