Barney Frank talked about limiting executive pay across the board not just limiting it to bailout companies.
Barney Frank tried to misrepresent the questions and was totally evasive on being direct. Frank may be on the finance committe but there is no question he does not understand real world ecconomices. It is further clear Barney Frank is disconnected from any kind of outside the betway reality.
The time index to watch is after 5 minutes 35 seconds.
At that point is where he hissy fits and ends the interview.

Nobody is discussing the fact that this is little more than a weak effort to drive the best and the brightest out of private sector jobs by caping pay.
Barney Frank is lying, he knows he is lying, it is OBVIOUS he was lying, and Barney Frank did not like people telling him the truth.
Liars alawys fear the light.

The guy's an absolute disgrace, perhaps the worst politician in DC.
The sooner he gets toppled from his throne, the better.

He is politically bulletproof in his district. He would need to be convicted of a felony or die in office to be rid of him.

He is a disgrace with seniority.
The MSM is not covering the absolute indignity of Barny Frank and all he represents.
Even this CNBC video was cut a few seconds short so we don’t get the full hissy fit.
While the drama banking queen part is at the end, the entire interview is one spin lie after another.
Barney Frank was talking like a criminal justifying his crimes. There is no remorse in Barney Frank for causing the housing mess.
Barny Franks’ disgrace needs to be fully slugged out during an election. He has to be ugly and brutal and is no place for the weaklings of the RNC.

He is politically bulletproof in his district. Absolutely. The traditional way to express this is to say that politician could only be undone if found "With a live boy in his bed, or a dead girl".
In Barney's case, the live boy is seen as a plus, and the dead girl is quite unlikely. He's in the long haul.

I love Mark Raines' comment at the end.

Blarney often acts like he is suffering from AIDs dementia.

He’s just a marxist. marxists want the government to set all prices and salaries.
Besides that, he’s a despicable piece of garbage.

Blarney is like Nancy Pelosigalore. There is nothing, they can do or say, that would keep them from being re elected by the mentally ill voters in their districts.

Barney Fwank has the mentality of a spoiled 10 year-old brat who kicks and screams if he doesn’t get his way.
To have someone as immature as this in such an important position is truly frightening.

Thanks for the link. It would have been great television if somebody followed up Bawneys "surprise" that the owners of a company should have a say in the compensation of their employees. Bawney should have been asked, "If that's your position, will you support an annual shareholder/voter vote on congressional salaries? Polls have shown that most Americans disagree with Congress setting its own compensation. Since you are employees of the American Corporation and your board is the American electorate, with your risky spending and failing fiduciary responsibilities, aren't you all just like the out-of-control CEO's you so despise?"
