WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Obama administration says executive compensation must be better managed to prevent the sort of risk-taking that jeopardizes the economy.

Gene Sperling, who advises Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, said Thursday the administration does not want to impose caps on executive pay. But he also laid out for the House Financial Services Committee a list of guidelines calling on publicly-held companies to link compensation to long-term performance, not short-term gains.

I just don’t see why the country is not in total outrage with this administration.

It is because there are thousands who will support him all the way to the camps. Here is a direct quote from such a one.

At least we got rid of "my way or the highway Bush". Thank goodness!!!!!! Finally an intelligent, open minded, caring man as our President instead of someone who cares for people only if they are white, straight and rich.

It's just a couple of rich guys losing money to most, unfortunately.

The 0bama sheeple will be pissed when their welfare check gets smaller from inflation or lower tax revenue.

Meanwhile the Obama administration prepares to do exactly that. If they can dictate how much executives can be paid, they can dictate how much ANYONE can be paid.

“They see the Oflationary writing on the wall, and it scares them deathless.”

Bingo!

They are trying to impose wage and then later, price controls as the inflation heats up and skys.

This is a crappy class warfare induced coverup.

Of course, the State Run Media will not allow any information or discussion of this to get out.

Caveat: Any SERIOUS discussion. The usual anacephalic headbangers will be screaming profanities at those who disagree and cutting off the mikes of others.

We’d better call this guy Nixon redux because he’s attempting an Imperial presidency.

Dramaqueen Alert

It doesnt say that they are going to legislate executive pay...it says they’ve provided guidelines to Geitner to recommend to companies across the private sector that they should base their executive pay on long term performance and not short term gains.

Actually, not a bad idea.

But it came from a guy with the wrong letter in front of his name, so we should clearly oppose it. :/

“....All they could say is that “they just feel that good things are coming and that Obama is working hard to make good things happen.”.......

Yep, they are choosing to believe the dishonest pap fed to them by the media. They ‘feel’.... wishin’ and hopin’ that this ‘lovely, elegant man’ (barf!) is gonna make all good things happen if they only have faith in him. Sheesh! There are some days I feel such despair for my country that I’m almost beside myself. How can we have produced the volume of mindless IDIOTS that we see all around us?

When Pelosi was in the minority the Dems made plenty of headway with the public.

The Republicans can't because they have no vehicle in the media, Hollywood, or Academia.

We must do something about this.

Arod is not to be confused with Obama’s political consultant Axelrod. But it doesn’t matter if they are blurred together.

"REIN IN PAY ACROSS PRIVATE SECTOR"

Does this mean that if I want a well-paying job I have to seek employment with The Government, and become a member of The Obamunist Central Committee?

And welfare kings and queens get their mortgage paid, all their bills and a brand new free cell phone.

Maybe we should all quit our jobs now and get the enevitable over with of getting canned and collect free living off the gubberment while we can.

The Arrowsmith song “Crazy” has been running through my mind a lot lately. More so when I’m looking at Michelle Obama’s outfits.
