60,000 Muslim votes in Florida in 2000 54,000 to George W. Bush How many votes did Bush win Florida by?

Huh? What's your point? Muslims were suckered in like the rest of us who voted for Bush...we knew that already! But what other choice was there in 2000 and 2004?

Pardon me

According to this article it was 78 percent, with 90 percent being in Florida

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4137092/

According to CAIR, 78 percent of Muslims voted Republican in 2000. It was a departure from previous elections, when this community tended to side with the health and education policies of Democrats. But conservative family values that Bush touted were attractive, as was his hints that he would seek to eliminate the 1996 Secret Evidence Act, which many Muslims believe targets members of their community.

Has that changed since 2000? Of course.

And some Eastern Orthodox communities helped kill Moslems in eastern Europe. *shrug* It seems there is enough blood to go around for everybody on the continent of Europe.

Agreed. We lost of lot of Moslem votes after 2000. Some here like that and some see it as a loss.

Most of both of them won’t like seeing a source from MSNBC ;>

And I forgot to mention that the picture of his truck had a Bush/Cheney ‘04 sticker on it.

He Also ran for office in 1968 as a Democrat in New Hampshire.

The guy was a nut case.
As someone else pointed out, anti semantics is on the rise, and it is predominantly a left wing sentiment throughout Europe and elsewhere.

Most sane people know Hitler was a left wing socialist, so attempts by the left to try turn this into a right wing sentiment will be seen for what it is, an attempt to disassociate themselves from their long standing beliefs.

Difference being Eastern Orthodox don’t currently round up and kill Jews, and, indeed, such action would be inconsistent with their theology.

The “mein kampf” remains a “best seller” in the middle east for a reason.

"Reporting of a Muslim Raghead versus reporting on this perpetrator..."

A few minutes ago, someone on FOX made a distinction between "Hate Crime" and "Middle East Political Crime" regarding this incident.

I'll be looking for that distinction to become wide spread in the media.

A World War II veteran? Which side was he on?

According to his bio, he was a PT boat captain and a DemoCRAP. So, probably with JFK enjoying himself with Navy nurses while better men than he fought the Emperor Hirohito's maniacal army (you know the same ethnic "little yellow" American ones that JFK's Jew-hating-and Hitler-loving old man, Joe, and FDR clamped in our camps)

Gee, there's a reliable source of information on what Muslims really do.

CAIR will say whatever is politically favorable for them.

His website seems to argue against the Bible, in general.

I presume it’s “too Jewish” akin to the Nazi arguments against the Bible.

His first link is to a page dedicated to the late, unlamented Revilo Pendleton Oliver (yimach shemo vezikhro!), a lunatic atheist whose opposition to Communism was based entirely on its alleged "moralism." Oliver believed in "nature red in tooth and claw" and considered all morality an alien imposition. He was an fanatical racialist but had no use for poor white people, and his only opposition to abortion was based on the need for more "aryan" babies. He was also a founder of the John Birch Society--the "blue lodge" of the anti-Semitic movement in this country.

Another example of such a person--fanatically atheist, anti-morality, and elevating race to the end all and be all of all things--is the late, unlamented Ben Klaasen (yimach shemo vezikhro!), who championed the "aryan race" above all things but considered "aryans" too gullible because of their religious beliefs. He wrote two books attacking the Bible as a Jewish weapon against "the white man" and even championed the idea that the conversion of the Roman Empire to chr*stianity by Paul was an act of Jewish vengeance that led to the formerly virile Roman Empire to be come wimpy passive she-males ready for the plucking. Klaasen and his organization are not linked on the web page, but it's hard to think about Oliver's philosophy without thinking of Klaasen (who was also a JBS member).

Ironically, there is another person very similar to these two people in that he practically worships his race while utterly rejecting all religion--including the traditional religions of the people he claims to love so much. That is Ronald Everett, better known as "Dr. Maulanga Karenga," the founder of "kwanzaa." He worships Africa and Africans yet rejects all religion, including African religion, utterly. Yet because he is Black he is somehow "left wing."

I wonder if any of the MSM will mention the anti-Biblical links of this man's web site?

Reagan did want a “big tent” party

From the 1992 convention after Buchanan spoke

“”enough of the negative small tent politics”, we want a large party, there is room for everybody in the GOP and our message as Republicans must be broad and resonate with many.”

All I can say to that is AHAHHAHAHAHA.

I’ve spoken to my neighbors about these sorts of things and I wouldn’t want to be the person tasked with convincing them that Hitler was a Liberal. If anything they associate him more with Nationalism than socialism. If conservatives have been successful at anything in the past 50 years it’s been associating love of Nation with conservatism. Hitler=Ultra-Nationalist=Conservative

Please understand that these aren’t my arguments. I don’t touch arguments when they get to Hitler. He’s too recent and too many emotions swirl around him.

I will say that I don’t think ANY responsible person should link this man with a mainstream party. He doesn’t represent mainstream anything in America.

For some reason the Pacific phase of WWII is treated differently from the European phase not only by liberals but by "right wingers" like this guy. Liberals consider the Japanese to be victims of Western ethnocentrism while "right wingers" who opposed war with Germany thought it was a fight against an enemy of the "white race" (wonder why Hitler [mach shemo!] allied with them then???).

Japan was also supported by some Black nationalists who saw that nation as the champion of all the non-whites of the earth. Silly, but it made more sense than picking the Russkies, who were the next to wear that mantle.

Any proof to counter? Or are you just gonna keep your head in the sand on this one?

Here is some more proof

http://www.meforum.org/13/how-did-muslims-vote-in-2000

“The alleged final numbers, according to a CAIR poll released after the election, were 72 percent for Bush, 8 percent for Gore and 19 percent for Nader.47 Nationally, in a “post-election telephone poll,” the AMA found that “more than 80 percent” went for Bush, 9 percent for Gore, and 10 percent for Nader.48 If Ralph Nader had not run on the Green Party line, the figures for Bush would have reflected Muslim and immigrant dissatisfaction with Gore to an even greater extent. (This is not because Greenism is popular with Muslims but that they were attracted to Nader’s Lebanese background and his outspoken views on the Middle East.)”

Now please, stop building straw mans and give me a good argument. You are sounding like a DU poster

"Kill the best Gentiles"

The above is a mis-quote this killer cherry-picked from the Talmud (and got wrong), and it appears to have been the source of much of his hatred against Jewish people.

That text refers to case of war (specifically, the war with Eqyptians during Exodus).

The G-d-fearers among the Egyptians allowed their animals to be used in battle against the Jews. Presumably, these people went along with their animals and drove the chariots. We now see that the G-d-fearers, the "good" among the gentiles, were doing battle with the Jews. To this R. Shimon ben Yochai said that, when in battle, do not try to spare the lives of those opposing soldiers who are fine, upstanding people.

Kill any enemy soldier, regardless of their character. This contextual approach to understanding R. Shimon ben Yochai's statement is how the post-Talmudic literature has read this statement [see Tosafot, Avodah Zarah 26b sv Velo; Maimonides, Mishneh Torah, Hilchot Avodah Zarah 10:1].

Reading R. Shimon ben Yochai's teaching as a single-sentence imperative to kill all gentiles is simply wrong and is not how Jewish scholars have ever understood it.

Here:

http://www.angelfire.com/mt/talmud/kill.html

The Talmud is a very confusing book for Jews seeped in its tradition and learning, and, at least partially for this reason, non-Jews are encouraged to concentrate on the portions of the Talmud that apply to them and leave the portions that apply to Jews alone --- to prevent EXACTLY THIS KIND OF CONFUSION.

You don’t need to sell me on it. *grin*

I think that in 50 years most American conservatives will be looking back on this time with a lot of chagrin about how they chased away the support and votes of LOTS of people that wanted to support them.

The people who believe this stuff are immune to any arguments to the contrary. When you consider that half the time they're attacking "Talmudists" for "murdering" J*sus and the other half claiming that Jews are not Israelites at all but "Khazars" who "converted" during the Middle Ages you can see that these people have no sense of logical whatsoever--unless they believe the crucifixion was carried out by Khazars from the future using a time machine.

Also consider that the Hebrew Bible is every bit as "anti-gentile" as the Talmud but the anti-Semites who accept the Bible refuse to see it this way because they believe the Israelites in the Bible who were exorted to kill their enemies were not Jews, but their own ancestors.

These people are freaking crazy.
