BTW, since you were on the Norwegian site—I don’t recall— did I write it in English or not?

Well, I sure as hell didn't translate it. It stood out as I quickly scanned the Norwegian replies. "Skrevet av MHGinTN@comcast.net (Gjest) 02.12.2008 22:02", it says. That would be 16:02 EST on 2 December 2008, if I'm not mistaken.

Here it is in Norwegian, courtesy of Google:

Barack Obama er positiv handling gått galskap. Han er ikke bare ikke er kvalifisert, han har ikke vært vetted på stilling som han søker. Han bruker en Axelrod taktikken kalles astroturfing å formidle et falskt bilde av hans kompetanse, og har nektet å gi grunnleggende Constitutionally nødvendige dokumenter for å være sverget i. Hans Goon Squad bygger en spenning på å bli utnyttet i en utpressing forsøke å stigninga til USAs presidentskap.

Perhaps you'd like to go back and post the translation for the benefit of the odd Norwegian who doesn't read English.

Well, what about that man in Pennsylvania (forget his name) who shot three cops?

The guard, Stephen T. Johns is a hero. He put himself between the bullet of a psychotic and the rest of those inside the museum. My gosh...it could have been so much worse if it weren't for the actions of those guards today. Children who were touring the museum are home eating dinner with their families and sleeping in their beds tonight because of Mr. Johns’ and the others bravery. And the psychotic Brunn failed on his sick mission today thanks to someone laying his life down for the lives of innocents. That is love and service of which Brunn’s dark hard cannot begin to conceive of.

Prayers up for the Johns’ family. They have lost a good man.

I can't believe a quote from On Jews and their Lies. was pulled, it's a tad historic.

Next time start with That Jesus Christ Was Born a Jew, something like

If the Jews should take offense because we confess our Jesus to be a man, and yet true God, we will deal forcefully with that from Scripture in due time. But this is too harsh for a beginning. Let them first be suckled with milk, and begin by recognizing this man Jesus as the true Messiah; after that they may drink wine, and learn also that he is true God. For they have been led astray so long and so far that one must deal gently with them, as people who have been all too strongly indoctrinated to believe that God cannot be man.

Therefore, I would request and advise that one deal gently with them and instruct them from Scripture; then some of them may come along. Instead of this we are trying only to drive them by force, slandering them, accusing them of having Christian blood if they don't stink, and I know not what other foolishness. So long as we thus treat them like dogs, how can we expect to work any good among them? Again, when we forbid them to labor and do business and have any human fellowship with us, thereby forcing them into usury, how is that supposed to do them any good?

Then you can move into his change of heart. Matthew I'll leave alone.

“Yep. We've made it quite clear where we stand in defending Israel and the Jew. Especially against lunatic Jew-haters like Ahmadnutjob.”

Bump that Bro.

Brunn and Ahmadnutjob are no different in beliefs and character. Only difference is Obama thinks Ahmadnutjob can be reasoned with. Nutjob can no more be reasoned with than a sicko like Brunn.

My husband is a contractor for the museum and this guard accompanied him while working several times. He was a very nice person and didn’t deserve this. It’s sad and has really hit home. When I spoke to my husband this afternoon all he could say was how you never know whats going to happen when you walk out of the door in the morning and that you pray that everyone you love knows how much you love them. We are praying for his family and everyone at the Holocaust Museum.

"The "red, green and pink supremacists" at the Kos are getting their panties in a wad because they say FR deleted a thread about the guy back in December."

If we learn that someone is nuts we should do as KOS does and allow their threads to remain and make them Mods!

The guards at all the Washington D.C. museums are very courteous and hard-working. When I went to the American Indian Museum last year with my daughter and her boyfriend, an elderly lady in front of us (apparently suffering from extreme osteoporosis) was having trouble getting through the check points. The guards took their time and helped her...it was the same everywhere we went. I have visited the Holocaust Museum only once...I couldn't get some of the images out of my head for weeks afterward.

MSNBC is receiving the Daily Kos talking points then, as usual. The "red, green and pink supremacists" at the Kos are getting their panties in a wad because they say FR deleted a thread about the guy back in December. [As if the POS on kos on never delete things they dislike.]

It's over at DUmmyland too...but this really goes back to all the silliness about Obama's birth certificate, like there would REALLY be a chance that he could be removed from office for not being a "natural born citizen of the U.S." The fact of the matter to me is that is mother WAS, that and the fact that we should focus on his fitness to hold officer rather than his qualification for office which was basically decided by the people of the United States on Nov. 6, 2008 (primarily because of a less than stellar 8-year performance by one George W. Bush!_

When my husband works in the museum its at night when the building is empty(I have been there several times at night with him)I havent toured the whole museum, but while walking to the area that he was working on I did get a chance to look at some of the exhibits. My husband said I had met this guard one night while I was at the museum with him but it was a year ago so I dont remember. I can tell you that the images I saw in the museum hit me the same as you. The pictures of children castrated and emaciated is so sad. No one deserves to be dehumanized like those people were. I just feel so sad for the family and you are right all the museum guards are very friendly and helpful.

I don’t even see any evidence anywhere that Van Brunn was a “birther.”

I think they got it from this goofy web site [http://saveireland.blogspot.com/2008/11/neo-racismthe-bnp-and-rabbi-brains.html] where 'anonymous' posted something [a list of unanswered questions about Obama entitled "The American People Demand to Know" that is not itself derogatory to anyone, any race or any creed] and sources it to von Brunn. Doesn't look like Brunn material at all. It looks to be erronously sourced to him, and indeed, this is the only place a poster attributes it to him I've yet found. I think it's actually a cut and paste someone else wrote [going by the name "Dick Eastman"] posted on numerous other websites. I didn't find it posted anywhere by Brunn unless Eastman is Brunn, which I don't know and doubt as it's not crusty and doesn't go into a diatribe against Jews.

I know it's not Obama himself, but Chrissy Matthews and his guests are already blaming mainstream conservatives like Rush Limbaugh and Michelle Malkin for the shooting.

But, Matthews is a mouthpiece for Zero. As is Olberdick and the rest of the sycophants at PMSNBC!

What got to me were the personal effects of those rounded up. There were toothbrushes, combs, etc., like they expected to be there a long time. The shoes on the third deck were especially chilling. Then those photos of atrocities—being lined up to be shot and gassed—the rail cars, the sounds of the camp survivors, and, yes, the children. The ID card I was first handed upon entry into the museum is still here. I look at it from time to time and remember.

Unbelievable — I just surveyed DailyKos and other like-minded sites. They are blaming the Free Republic for this shooting.

First, I have been a member of FR since 1998, and I can testify that FR is more pro-Israel than most mainstream sites, more than most moderate Jewish sites. This attack on FR is unjustified.

That said, we need to take a long, hard look at right-wing media.

Yes, some of the commentary on FR is over the top. However, it is always challenged by Freepers who are fact-based. This is undeniable. (For example, the Freepers that are wondering how a convicted felon got a gun, and, thereby, differentiating between gun-rights and gun-control advocates in clear, reasoned way.)

However, there may be a connection between hyped-up accusations, criticisms, etc and a lunatic picking up a gun and shooting someone. I am not talking about FR here - because we maintain a balanced (though right-wing discussion - [yes, the lefties would say we are totally biased]).

But some of the nonsense spewed out by cynical politicians and right-wing media personalities is enough to spur a mentally unbalanced person to pick up a gun and start shooting.

It’s not free speech to yell fire in a crowded theatre. And, yes, you all know what I am talking about.

Now they are saying that MSNBC is ‘reporting’ that the shooter was a member of FR...LOL.

If MSNBC actually "reported" that I hope JR sues them...for a very large amount of money.
