June 10, 2009 -- Two passengers with names linked to Islamic terrorism were on board the Air France flight which crashed with the loss of 228 lives, it has emerged.
French secret servicemen established the connection while working through the list of those who boarded the doomed Airbus in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on May 31st.
Flight AF447 crashed in mid-Atlantic en route to Paris during a violent storm.While it is certain that there were computer malfunctions, terrorism has not been ruled out.
Soon after news of the fatal crash broke, agents working for the DGSE (Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure), the French equivalent of MI6, were dispatched to Brazil.

huh....who would have figured...let’s see if they take responsibility. You know they are busting at the seams to take credit if this is their doing. OR....Maybe they have a new way of doing things...staying quiet and making everyone guess....

Not claiming responsibility adds to their satisfaction as it causes more chaos, uncertainty and fear in the minds of people. If it really was terrorism induced, they know they will be found out eventually so there is no hurry in claiming credit. AQ never officially claimed responsibility for 9/11 until the ‘dinner party’ video of Obama bin Laden emerged.

Yeah. That’s one of the problems. Arabs are not terribly imaginative when it comes to naming their offspring. It makes it difficult to determine identity.
My airline (and actually our aircraft), was one of the first major carriers with aircraft in the air after 9-11. Arriving at SFO we were advised before gate arrival that the FBI & SFO cops would be coming on board to detain a passenger. I had the FA’s keep the folks seated, and the pax was removed. While eating breakfast I noticed the FBI agent coming down the concourse so I stopped him and asked what the story was. He advised that they’d let the guy go This was when the “list” was only a page and a half long. A LONG time ago for sure.
The comment from the agent was, “I guess it’s a bad day to be named Mohammed).
There’s the problem with doing a valid ID on these folks. Their all named Mohammed. It’s not like Al Qaida gives them badges with ID numbers.
That locater in that thing will transmit for 30 days. I don’t care if it is at the bottom of a 12,000 foot chasm, they need to go get it. We have the technology, America, as always we need to come to the rescue.
Those people on that plane were murdered.
