Defense Secretary Robert Gates expressed confidence on Tuesday that the United States could shoot down any North Korean missile fired toward America.
Gates told US lawmakers at a hearing Tuesday that the US would have a "high probability of being able to defend ourselves" if the North fired a long-range missile.

Second to last nail. The last nail in the coffin will be when Fauxbama refuses to nuke NK after most of Los Angeles relocated to the upper atmosphere...because they don't have any more missiles and don't present any more of a threat, or they promise not to do it again, or the Chinese ambassador issued a stern warning AND was wearing a red shirt (signifying that he's really, really upset and serious), or ....
This is almost as stupid as Dean Acheson saying that South Korea is outside of our defensive cordon. In retrospect, it may turn out to be far, far more stupid.
What kind of a political whore is Gates, anyway, working for a defense-gutting, appeasement junkie like Fauxbama?
