I guess crazy people just have a beating coming to them. Maybe next time he will listen to the voices that tell him to zip up.....let’s give the cops a medal for keeping the crime of unzipping in public from going unchecked. I feel much safer now.
For FReepers who wonder... “Puh ‘sake” is an acceptable pronunciation, although many (most?) North Jersey natives will pronounce it “Puh ‘say ik” with the last two syllables almost blending together.
NJ ping
No doubt the usual badge lickers will be here shortly to defend the pigs who did this.
That LEO needs to be beat with his own nightstick for about 15 minutes....
The country has a problem with cops that aren't fit to wear the uniform. It's a small, very small problem. The country has a problem with other cops that protect them. That's a big, very big problem.
Former Clifton native here. Passaic—haven’t heard that name in a while.
I was born there 70 years ago...it's Puh-sake...unless you're from "Da udder side Pots-ake."
Plus this wasn't done in a back ally. There were other people around.
Why don’t you become a police officer and show us how it’s done? There are plenty of openings.
yep, count on it, they will be here soon.
He was proved right by your post. Hopefully you are not a cop.
I have no desire to be a police officer. I don’t qualify. I have a pleasant disposition, I’m not an arrogant prick, and I don’t beat the insane or helpless. I also don’t shoot my coworkers. I’m college education and I don’t look back on high school as being my, “glory days”.
So, I could never hope to attain the high and holy post of police man. But I can cut down on demand by not calling them...ever. They never make any situation better.
You’re right ....
I dunno. Maybe the guy had it coming.
My definition of conservatism doesn’t involve armed agents of the STATE beating citizens.
UPDATE: Passaic Mayor Alex Bianco has suspended Officer Joseph J. Rios III, who was caught on video beating a mentally disabled man.
"I have called upon the police chief to suspend Officer Rios based on the Passaic County Prosecutor's investigation of alleged excessive force," Bianco said in a statement.
"The police chief has executed the necessary paperwork to suspend Officer Rios effective immediately. The suspension is with pay, and as the investigation continues, the status of Officer Rios will be adjusted appropriately."
Officials also suspended Rios' partner, Officer Erica Rivera, without pay for filing a report in which they said she lied about being hit with a baton during the incident.
"I understand that a majority of our police department serve admirably and perform their duties in the best interests of our residents," Blanco said in his statement. "But I am sending a message that conduct unbecoming of an officer will not be tolerated.
