There is far more violence in the Bible than in the Quran; the idea that Islam imposed itself by the sword is a Western fiction, fabricated during the time of the Crusades when, in fact, it was Western Christians who were fighting brutal holy wars against Islam. So announces former nun and self-professed freelance monotheist, Karen Armstrong. This quote sums up the single most influential argument currently serving to deflect the accusation that Islam is inherently violent and intolerant: All monotheistic religions, proponents of such an argument say, and not just Islam, have their fair share of violent and intolerant scriptures, as well as bloody histories. Thus, whenever Islams sacred scriptures the Quran first, followed by the reports on the words and deeds of Muhammad (the Hadith) are highlighted as demonstrative of the religions innate bellicosity, the immediate rejoinder is that other scriptures, specifically those of Judeo-Christianity, are as riddled with violent passages.

The two original humans, created before the fall, were physically perfect and their genes contained all the information necessary to produce all the variation we see today. After the Fall, the corruption allowed mutations and gene drift that cause the problems today.
It would follow from your illogic that, based on all the accrued wages of sin, over the multiple milleniums, we'd all be born with severe physical birth defects, by now. And the future generations, with even more crippling physical defects.
Did the Chernobyl survivors sin more than the rest?
Sort of like this:
Jewbacca: For a right-angled triangle, if the sides are of length a, b and c, with c being the hypotenuse, then a^2 + b^2 != c^2.
Curious listener: Could you prove it?
Jewbacca: Who cares?
Wow, you’re really quick to
show your ignorance. It must go along with your flat out decision to reject the Creator, but that’s a different story.
It has nothing to do with “accrued” wages of sin, just accrued mutation and genetic drift that didn’t exist before the fall. The process started because of the fall, but there was no implication in my post that continued sin caused more mutation and drift.
Better to keep silent and be thought a fool...etc.
Energy is not merely “lost”; the operative word ‘lost’ implies a loss of a particular form of energy, into another, less usable form, for the purpose at hand. Energy doesn’t vanish into a vacuum- at most, there is a mass-energy inter-conversion.
Please elaborate on this ‘entropy’ idea of yours, and what the Bible exactly says about the same.
I’m not arguing for the point that the poster you are replying to made, but what they posted is not illogical.
His point is only illogical if you believe that an infinite amount of time has progressed since the Fall of Man. How do you come to the conclusion that some decay == total decay over a finite amount of time?
That’s like my saying that Entropy dictates that there should be zero energy in the Universe even though it is 13 Billion+ years old!
The Nazis were extreme occultists, you demand to know what particular brand of occult. The flavor of their paganism is irrelevant to the point that they were not Chrisitian.
You’re intentionally ignorant of many things; a “mocker” not interested in real discussion.
I will not cast pearls before swine, as the Christians say. Bye.
Guess this wouldn’t be the right time and place to bring up the issue of Mormonism.......
You are incapable of explaining why there isn’t a progressive, exponential increase in genetic defects, among humans today.
Two beings inbreeding will result in massive genetic flaws, accumulated over the generations. Even if an “immaculate” pair was used, the faults due to this “Fall” would still have to follow an exponential increase, to ultimately affect all individual offspring. It doesn’t manifest in this way, in the human species, and thus, the entire human race of today cannot be traced back to merely two individuals. Genetics doesn’t allow this.
Who voted them in?
Youre intentionally ignorant of many things; a mocker not interested in real discussion.
No, I'm merely pointing out your ignorance, and your factual flaws. Repeatedly. Yet, you continue to persist, the silence over being pointed out to the fact about the German elections, notwithstanding.
I will not cast pearls before swine, as the Christians say. Bye.
LOL, and someone was b!tching a mere half-dozen comments ago about being called names... what a hypocrite!
Because you are starting with a faulty breeding pair, to begin with, and your gene-pool is EXTREMELY limited: two individuals.
Well, you've been loud for long enough for the rest of us to know you rather well, LOL!
Actually, yes it can, and has been. And don't demand proof, go look it up, I won't cater to your ignorance.
There is no exponential increase because of the social precautions against inbreeding. In the cases where there has been inbreeding, we do see these catastrophic abnormalities, as expected.
To any observer who has studied this topic, you appear to be a laughingstock. Please, desist.
Well, he hasn’t been hit by lightning, or rather, one of Zeus’ thunderbolts.
No it can't, and no, it hasn't been. I know you can't cater to anything logical, leave alone ignorance, and you've made a good choice to desist from even attempting from doing so.
I can paste a couple of scientific papers on why interbreeding of the Adam-Eve mythology can't work mathematically, but I'll wait for you to turn up with an argument to support your flawed stance, first.
There is no exponential increase because of the social precautions against inbreeding. In the cases where there has been inbreeding, we do see these catastrophic abnormalities, as expected.
Every single generation of the Adam-Eve line is a product of inter-breeding, if there were was only Adam and Eve as the starting breeding pair.
*Yawn*
Your illogic is no longer entertaining.
There may be a good reason for this Christian against Hindu violence. Would you also condemn our U.S. Christian soldiers’ violence against the Japanese in WWII? Would you label that Christian violence against Shintos and Buddhists?
>> a good reason for this Christian against Hindu violence
Yes, there was. A really, really, really good reason.
Something to do with heathen unbelievers who refused to accept the truth.
Again, with your lies and distractions. You are sad.
