Laura Bush: W. ‘Owes’ Obama Silence
Exclusive: Former First Lady: Sotomayor ‘Interesting’ Choice, Michelle Obama ‘Doing Terrific’

Oh, for God’s sake. I am so sick of these elites who couldn’t think their way out of a paper bag.
Good grief! No doubt she was behind the Harriet Myers fiasco.
Laura’s just being a class act.
I don’t think that’s an official endorsement.
My low esteem for pro-abort Laura just went lower.
Laura, dear, Obama has plenty of cheerleaders in Big Media. He really doesn’t need you too.
I generally like Laura: she’s a classy lady and I’m very much missing that in today’s White House. However, it is time for the Bush’s to go away. They made some good solid contributions, but they also helped diminish the GOP. Just go and enjoy a quiet retirement — let Cheney do the talking now, OK?
I don’t associate class with sexist platitudes.
What did you expect? That she slit the neck of a rooster, drink his blood, and curse Sotomayor on national TV?
Don’t forget that the “Wanted Dead or Alive” talk for Osama was too tough for sensitive Laura. She did her part all along to bring us to the Obamanation. She ought to keep her big fat stupid mouth shut.
Laura missing the spotlight?
George Bush was never a conservative, and I doubt his wife is/was either ...
The more she opens her mouth the more she should keep it closed.
FLASHBACK:

Joining her husband in defense of Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers, Laura Bush today called her a “role model for young women around the country” and suggested that sexism was a “possible” reason for the heavy criticism of the nomination.
“I know Harriet well,” the first lady said. “I know how accomplished she is. I know how many times she’s broken the glass ceiling. . . . She’s very deliberate and thoughtful and will bring dignity to wherever she goes, certainly the Supreme Court.” ...
Asked by host Matt Lauer if sexism might be playing a role in the Miers controversy, she said, “It’s possible. I think that’s possible. . . . I think people are not looking at her accomplishments.”
And George was a screw also.
She is just being gracious.
How are REPUBLICANS ever going to distinguish themselves if they agree with everything Obama is doing??
Laura is being polite, as she always has been.
Not a big deal imo.
Yes. Obviously. But watch all the knee-jerk hysteria here.
Mrs. Bush was asked a gotcha question and she replied graciously, thereby defusing the situation.
