(AP) — WASHINGTON-The Pew Research Center has found that young Muslims are more religiously observant than their parents, and Gallup polling shows they are more likely than their parents to think of themselves as Muslim first and American second.

US public schools are not strong on teaching ANYBODY to be American citizens. The splintering of public opinion is not found to be surprising.
All our future leaders, should there ever be a movement to restore the American ideals, will have come from either home schooling or from privately funded and administered schools. Federal funding for schooling, and a great deal of state funding, is directed more for indoctrination than for the teaching of basic facts for purposes of getting through the basic tasks of living.
