He is now speaking and behaving as if USA are not at war against AL QAEDA AND ISLAMism(which is linked with ISLAM LIKE IT OR NOT mister HUSSEIN O.)
He started off by listing his Muslim credentials, and is now onto Al Qaeda being bad guys and how no one should tolerate them. Basic theme is “can’t we all get along?” Says U.S. doesn’t want to be in Afghanistan, but is saying we will be paying 1.5 billion plus another 2.8 billion more US dollars to be invested in building up Afghanistan. Of course, we are in a recession, but our tax dollars will be going to Afghanistan to help them rather than help our own people. Bush did the same thing in Iraq. The way you fight a war is to win it and then get the heck out. Let them occupy all their time building their countries back up so that they will be too busy and too poor to cause more trouble.
Now he is onto 9/11. Going again into blame America. Saying 9/11 caused the U.S. to do bad things, like torture and reiterated that Gitmo will be closed by next year and our troops out of Iraq by 2012.
Oh, oh here comes the slam Israel part of the speech. Starts out with what good friends we are with Israel with unbreakable bonds between us. References holocaust. Blames on Israel, but of course says nothing about how Arafat’s uncle was a Nazi too and how the Arabs were sympathetic to the Nazi’s. Now saying Pali’s suffering pain of dislocation for last 60 years with no homeland. Humiliated by Israel occupation of their lands. Situation intolerable and U.S. won’t turn backs on their aspirations for a state of their own. Compromise elusive, BO says. Blind to truth if we see from one side or the other only, therefore must have 2 states living side by side in peace.
BO will have patience to seek the solution. Pali’s must abandon violence. BO compares it to Blacks (slavery) having patience and overcoming it without violence. So BO compares Pali’s to plight of Blacks in the past in America. Says Pali’s must recognize Israel’s right to exist. Then zaps Israel for still constructing settlements. Says it must stop. Lack of opportunities in West Bank must be corrected and it’s Israel’s responsibility to see that progress is made in this arena (why?, the Pali’s want to kill them).
America will align our policies with those who pursue peace. BO says we cannot impose peace, but it is time to act on what everyone knows to be true. Says Jerusalem should be place where all 3 great religions should be able to mingle in peace. Uses phrase after mentioning Mohammed “peace be upon him” to cheering from audience.
Now onto Iran. Mentions bad acts by Iran such as hostage taking, etc. but BO says we must move forward and must overcome years of distrust. Will discuss issues without preconditions. As to nukes, have reached a decisive point. Wants no nations to hold nuclear weapons. Says Iran should have access to peaceful nuke power if abides by treaty for peaceful use of it.
Now discussing issue of democracy. Says no country should have democracy imposed on them. Each nation should choose its own way, grounded in its traditions. Feels all countries believe in certain basic principles like freedom of speech, live as you choose, basic law and justice. So will support this everywhere. Those gov’t protecting these rights are more stable and secure. Says some advocate for democratic power and then when in power use it against others (sounds like the Obama Admin).
Political process should be placed above Party ideology (hah, like he holds to that principle).
Now goes onto Islam having a position of tolerance (what a joke). Uses Indonesia as an example. What a joke again. Speaks to one faith rejecting others and says religious diversity should be tolerated in all countries. Speaks of divisions between Sunni and Shi’a and violence it has caused. Oh boy, now speaking to U.S. laws that impede charitable giving and how he is going to correct that (of course those charitable givings go to terrorist groups). Speaks of how there should not be impediments to religious traditions in the U.S., such as the garb chosen to wear by Muslims.
Now speaking to women’s rights. Speaks of denying education is denying equality. Well educated women cause countries to be more wealthy. Common prosperity comes from all humanity reaching their potential. Respect women who choose traditional lives but give them the choice, not having it dictated to them.
Now onto education. Speaks to use of Internet the good and the bad of it (porno, etc.). Talks of fear of modernity (yeah because the Muslim mind lives in the Stone Age). Need be no conflict between development and tradition. BO’s head swinging back and forth from teleprompter to teleprompter. Like a ping pong ball. Education will be investment of 20th century. BO says he’s emphasizing education in U.S. (yeah, spend more money while students get more dumbed down and indoctrinated). Will encourage more exchange students between U.S. and Arab countries. BO will host a summit this year on deepening business ties and tech ties between U.S. and Muslim countries. Will open up scientific centers in Africa and Mid East. Starts to talk “green”. Also eradicate polio. Child and maternal health. All in partnership w/Muslim countries.
Wants U.S. troops to come home. Nuke energy for peaceful purposes. All God’s children to be respected. The world that BO Admin seeks. Some eager to stand in way, some say not worth effort, civilizations doom to clash. Others sceptical and there is fear and mistrust. But BO says we can’t choose to be bound by the past. They young have the ability to reimagine and remake the world (I’ve heard that one before). Must commit to sustain effort to find common ground. Respect dignity of all human beings. Easier to start wars than end them. To not look inward. We need to choose right path, not just easy path.
One rule at heart of every religion and then quotes the golden rule: do unto others as want done to you. Is waxing poetic now. Must be wrapping up (finally). Must have courage for a new beginning. Quotes the “holy Koran” now. A good quote, not one of the many bad ones. Now refers to Torah and the Bible w/let’s all get along quotes. People of the world can live together in peace.
Sums up with Thank You and “may God’s peace be upon you”, or whatever that saying the Muzzies all say is.
