Christie is no friend of the 2nd Amendment. See the ad he ran a few years back. I can not in good conscience pull a lever for this man, and I will not compromise my convictions. Freedom is not negotiable.

Isn’t it amazing ? Ah-nold the Austrian Socialist managed to make Off-White Davis look as tight-fisted as Calvin Coolidge. Maybe we should run Davis as a Republican in 2010 for CA Governor ?

Well, they can join me down in Tennessee, where we’re trying to build a lasting GOP majority... Real Conservatives have voted with their feet out of the Northeast and West Coast.

Now that NJ gets a Lt Governor with this election, think Whit-er-Christie will pick Lonegan as his running mate ? *snicker* He’ll probably go with a leftist like State Sen. Diane Allen.

Time to start composing my letter to the county and state GOP committees -- telling them that I won't be voting for Christie in November, and WHY I won't be doing so. Maybe I'll copy Paul Mulshine at the Ledger -- see if he's still good for anything.

I invite others to do the same.

Well they finally put in a Lt. Governor! How is he chosen? If Cristie appoints it will be a key indicator. Will he be the Senate President, as in most states, or a gofer for the Governor, the way it is in Florida?

It doesn’t matter who won this primary. The article says Bon Jovi is going to be performing for Corzine. Oooh Bon Jovi — oooooh Springstein. Ooooh those brain dead New Jerseyans will vote for their favorite performer. To hell with NJ. I’m outta here next year. It’s a lost cause.

Lonegan’s concession speech was very gracious. Concession speeches usually are, but this one seemed even more so.

Christie and Corzine will select them shortly as far as I know (no primaries for them, apparently).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lieutenant_Governor_of_New_Jersey

The Lt Governor will just be like a “gofer”, doing whatever the Gov assigns them. He or she won’t get to serve as Senate President, though. This, of course, will keep Dick Codey from being Senate Pres and Governor simultaneously again (that is, presuming the Gov and Lt Gov aren’t lost in a plane crash in Ho-Ho-Kus or something...).
