You know, I think that only the lives of people who are tried for serious crimes, and found guilty by a jury of their peers, and then given ample opportunity to appeal their verdicts, should be executed. That was the case with Ted Bundy and John Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer.
They all were executed -- but only after being tried, convicted, sentenced, and THEN only after they were allowed to appeal both the verdict and the sentence.
Teller was murdered.
While I consider many of Teller's abortions to have been murder, it seems to me somewhat odd to suggest that since Teller committed murder, he "deserved" to be murdered as well.
Teller likely justified his late-term abortions by saying that the babies whose lives he took were somehow less than human, and did not deserve life.
But, in my book, no one -- unborn babies and men like Teller -- deserves to have his or her life taken away by the action of one person.
Romans 12:17-21
7 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
I Thessalonians 5:15
15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
Would that Pres’ent Obama echo the words of Fr. Pavone in an honest attempt at dialogue with those with whom he disagrees.
“Someone with a copy of Obamas real birth certificate.”
If that’s the case, he BETTER request protective custody in jail/s;)
Yes, yes, of course it was a dastardly deed. Yes, the Pro-life cause will suffer because of it. BUT, BUT, BUT in the Holy Name of Our Loving Father, how many more beautiful, viable young children have to die while we wring our hands and make nicey with Evil Incarnate. God forgive us all for our cowardly inaction on behalf of the unborn. How terrible it was for partisans to murder that brave, dedicated, sensitive Reinhard Hyedrich in Prague in WW2. How dare those terrorists attack him on his way to work.
For that matter, it is a good thing that the Western Allies didn’t heed the pleas of people inside and outside of Germany during the early 1940’s to bomb multiple, specific points in Poland to disrupt rail transit to “relocation centers” such as: Auschwitz, Chelmno, Sobibor, Belzec, Treblinka, Maidanek. Why, innocent civilians could’ve been killed, not to mention the point that who are we to judge what other’s do with their undesirables? Some day, we’ll look back and wonder why a rich and prosperous civilization allowed the wanton slaughter of MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of the pre-born for expedience and the enrichment of those guilty of crimes aganist humanity. As I’ve written before, Ive seen up close and personal the utter and totally debased way in which these people and their minions view life.
How marvelous it would be for there to be an end to all bloodshed and violence. Most of us realize that will not happen until He returns. In the meantime, we must recall the famous admonition “All that is necessary for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing.”
Sadly, this single act will probably not do anything to end or even curb sanctioned infanticide. If all the alleged Pro-lifers (me included-we all know how cheap and painless talk is)took a more active and, yes, sometimes civilly disobedient course we could end this abomination once and for all. That however, would require sacrifing alot more than most of us are willing to lose and then it
seems there really aren’t that many of us who actually see through the fog and realize just what abortion represents in this post-Christian civilization of ours.
Again, God have mercy on us all. I certainly don’t know the eternal destination of Tiller nly Our Father does. Maybe in that blink of an eye between life and death a soul has a chance to repent and be saved. Who knows, maybe Hitler and Himmler, Stalin and Mao had the opportunity to repent and be saved. I certainly don’t look forward to facing judgement, but I do know that no amount of money or torture could ever make me perpetrate the heinous evil this man and all those like hime and their facillitators have. Should they be murdered for their monstrous acts? Maybe only God has that right, but then maybe bystanders with lawful,concealed-carry guns shouldn’t intervene to try to stop mass killngs at public gatherings if their life isn’t threatened. Who says they should be “judge, jury, and executioner”. Apparently most people just don’t see those
vastly post-viable, healthy, late-term babies as worthy of protection such as a week old baby would be afforded if caught in a shooting spree at the grocery store with their parents.
No less can be, nor should be, expected of the radical left.
See Romans 12:17 & 21. The premise of not returning evil for evil but rather return good for evil is apparent in the two verses.
Amen indeed.

"Hopeless" may be too strong a word. We should always have hope. :)
While I shed no tears for a man who has taken the life from many others, I also know that to resort to killing this pathetic murderer is not the way to resolve the issue.
For every Tiller there is, there will be another to take his place.
There is no Biblical injunction to pray for a dead man. His fate is sealed once dead and you will have no bearing on it.

You are right on, on this statement..Many babies are probably going to be allowed to live because he is dead...The earth is better off now than when he walked upon it...Karma can be a b!tch...But he died much faster and with less pain than those he killed...
There is an old saying the goes "some people just need a killing" he was one of them...
We are to return evil with good if the evil is done to us. Not if the evil is done to others...The only person that can forgive that doctor is the babies he killed. Therefore there is no forgiveness for him...we certainly don’t have the power or the right to forgive evil done to another..Thats like me saying, gee you killed that baby but I forgive you...it just ain’t going to happen..
What a crass and ridiculous thing to post. What is wrong with you? You should be ashamed.
I pray Tiller had a chance to repent in his hour of death.
I don’t think the evil spoken of in those verses speak to the taking of innocent life; especially if one tries to reconcile verse 18 with verses 17 and 21.
Imposing consequences for great evil is not evil.
