Damn, they are getting soft up there in Kansas.
When no justice exists, only the rule of those in power, what is the correct response.
If I know a woman who is planning to abort her baby, it is my moral duty to try to stop her. However, if she persists, I do not have the moral right to follow her to the abortuary and kill her or the abortionist.
If the baby is a living human being, just not born yet, don't you have a greater moral responsibility to protect innocent life? The woman and abortionist are not innocent and they are making a choice to kill an innocent life.
agree
One more nail in the confiscation of guns from right-wing extremists.
I just don't think it's reasonable to believe that an attorney could successful prove his client "was in fear for his life", or that "other circumstances existed that justified deadly force", when that same client gunned down a presumably unarmed and certainly older man who was acting as an usher during Sunday morning worship services.
You can't shoot a man in cold blood for doing something that is legal, no matter how reprehensible that "something" is, in this case late term abortion. As a matter of criminal law, this shooter will probably receive a lengthy sentence provided that he's indeed guilty and his subsequently convicted.
I don't disagree with anything in this post. I would add that just because God knows everything in advance means he causes every event to happen.
I justify nothing, I simply point out that babies were killed daily by the dead Tiller.
I guess I’m not a very good Christian because my first though was “it’s about time”. I know that is not the best reaction to have, but I am speaking as a woman who was given up for adoption in the Kansas City area. It is only by the beliefs of my mother that the man who was killed today did not murder me.
Statement from Tiller’s family:
May 31, 2009
Dan Monnat and Lee Thompson, Dr. George Tillers attorneys, issued the following statement today at the request of Mrs. Jeanne Tiller, the Tillers four children and ten grandchildren:
Today we mourn the loss of our husband, father and grandfather. Todays event is an unspeakable tragedy for all of us and for Georges friends and patients. This is particularly heart wrenching because George was shot down in his house of worship, a place of peace.
We would like to express the familys thanks for the many messages of sympathy from our friends and from all across the nation. We also want to thank the law enforcement officers who are investigating this crime.
Our loss is also a loss for the City of Wichita and women across America. George dedicated his life to providing women with high-quality heath care despite frequent threats and violence. We ask that he be remembered as a good husband, father and grandfather and a dedicated servant on behalf of the rights of women everywhere.”

“NOT if we frame the debate the way the Democrat-Worshipping media would.
We simply describe Tillers death as:
A VERY Late-Term Abortion in the 272nd Tri-mester.
YOU wouldnt stand against ABORTION, would you, Ms. Gay Network Segment Producer? That would be VERY un-PC, you know!”
I love it!
He should fry (not to put too fine a point on it.)
Your posts scare me, quite frankly. By your reasoning, because you don’t think there is justice for whomever is pro-life, they are justified to murder at will? You need serious help. Its nutjobs like you that give FR a bad name.
If we agree with the murderer of Tiller, then we MUST logically also agree with the murder of a murderer’s accomplices.
Therefore, we have a chain of justification to include complicit judges and politicians.
More. In our voter system, we can justify the murder of accomplices who VOTE FOR the politicians who permit abortion to continue.
All are accomplices.
Are we now free to support the murder of Geraldine Treehugger, democratic voter, by anti-abortion vigilantes?
Christin was 19 years old when George Tiller killed her.

Killing unborn children is health care?
Possible the shooter had been dianosed as terminal and did it as one of his last action. Nothing to loose.
I am at a loss here. I do NOT condemn the killing of “Dr.” Tillman. He deserved to die, as do the rest of abortion “doctors”. I also believe that those who commit crimes and are not justly dealt with by government (law enforcement) deserve justice provided by those willing to do justice.
I am not sure that a body-guard or escort deserves the same though.
“If we agree with the murderer of Tiller, then we MUST logically also agree with the murder of a murderers accomplices.”
Why? Can and will they keep killing without his ‘license’?
This wireless keyboard plays havoc on my already suspect typing and spelling skills.
I just can’t grieve for him. I do grieve for all the babies he’s killed.
