WICHITA, Kan. -- Dr. George Tiller, a Kansas man who became one of the most famous figures in the national debate over abortion, was shot and killed at his church Sunday morning, KAKE-TV reported.
Tiller was walking into Reformation Lutheran Church at 10:03 a.m., when he was shot.
Tiller was pronounced dead when emergency crews arrived, the station reported.
Police were looking for a blue Ford Taurus with a K-State vanity plate, license number 225 BAB. Police described him as a white male in his 50's or 60's, 6'1," 220 lbs, wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
Too bad God doesn't grade on a curve.
Screw O’Reilly ans anybody who worries about O’Reilly.
I hope everyone here is intelligent enough not to openly celebrate this murder. For all we know, he might have cut the guy off on traffic, or been his ex-brother-in-law, nobody knows yet. But whatever, that was a sick SOB to shoot a man as he walked into church.
Innocent people, maybe kids, had to watch that. And on top of that, if a man is walking owards a church, theres always hope God is about to speak to his heart that day.
Not cool on church steps. Not in the least.
The act is reminiscent of “Unintended Consequences.” Or perhaps, following up on some other Freepers comments above it is a false flag act, more similar to the one at the start of Travi’s first book “Enemies Foreign and Domestic”. We shall have to let things play out for a while before we have enough context to say more.
This thread, and the other one, are disgraceful, and are an embarrassment to the conservative movement.
His killer did a great service when noone else would do it.
Nope, no leniency for shoooting *anyone* as they walk into church.
Ding ding ding. First smart post in this thread.
PS: As they say down here in Georgia — “There are some folks that neeed killing.” He was one of them.
I doubt it. Most doctors, even abortionists, won’t do late term abortions. Tiller was one of a few that would.
There will be more abortions because of this. For the first time, a majority were describing themselves as “pro-life. “ That won’t happen again, and it will be harder to make the pro-life case.
I would think Tiller would burst into flame for walking on consecrated ground like the Vampire he was.
Ideally, he would have had a CONVERSION and realize the horrors he's authored. Now, he'll simply be a martyr for the abortuary industry, bathed in the gentle light the MSM will produce, while we're painted as monsters.
They will both be harshly judged, all in their due time.
The civil rights movement was going nowhere (legislatively) until cities started burning.
Well, at least the perp didn’t rip his arms and legs off and then suck his brains out.
You make the mistake of thinking that the abortion debate is won or lost in the judical and political end of the spectrum. As important as theose two arena’s are, that isn’t where they are won at all.
This is won or lost in the hearts and minds of ordinary people, and in that arena, the Leftists have already lost.
There may be a little setback in politics, but it can’t last long, as the tide is running strongly against the abortionists.
You, also, are entitled to your opinion. Equivocators and appeasers have something to say, too....Pardon me if it falls on deaf ears.Live by the long knife, die in a night of long knives. The whole point of America is that you have a democratic process that precludes the need for this kind political violence.
Your deaf ears will kill *you* in the end. You'll be lucky if you get off with the Swat team just shooting your dog.
