WICHITA, Kan. -- Dr. George Tiller, a Kansas man who became one of the most famous figures in the national debate over abortion, was shot and killed at his church Sunday morning, KAKE-TV reported.
Tiller was walking into Reformation Lutheran Church at 10:03 a.m., when he was shot.
Tiller was pronounced dead when emergency crews arrived, the station reported.
Police were looking for a blue Ford Taurus with a K-State vanity plate, license number 225 BAB. Police described him as a white male in his 50's or 60's, 6'1," 220 lbs, wearing a white shirt and dark pants.

This isn't good, boys and girls....not good at all.
I could not agree more. This will be portrayed by the media as a major crisis and an egregious attack on freedom. As Rahm puts it, "Never let a serious crisis go to waste." The net result? It will merely hasten the day when being pro-life is considered a hate crime.

No doubt this ‘man’ is responsible for thousands, maybe tens-of-thousands of needless and wanton deaths. If you think his ‘passing’ is a bad thing in the cause of speaking out and ending the practice of abortion, I don’t know what to tell you. I can only say that I shall not mourn his demise, nor shall I judge others.

Gay State, Turret:
You guys celebrating this may just be celebrating the loss of your own freedoms. Don’t be fools. This isn’t good — nor is it right.

Ladies and gentlemen ... the problem was not this guy. The problem was (and is) the law that allows this guy to exist.
No lives were saved with this killing. These women will just go elsewhere. The problem exists today just as it did yesterday ... with the added problem of a bloodthirsty anti-abortion nut running around tarnishing the pro-life image.

Frankly, I don’t give a damn what they say. I suspect more people than would publicly admit it are glad Tiller is dead. I doubt there will be a lot of Doctors lining up to take over his practice.

Murder is wrong, period, regardless of who commits it. Rahm Emmanuel, Obama, et. al. will all use this as an example of how “hypocritical” “Christians” are, as well as to further alienate religion. Say goodbye to all portions of the First Amendment.

Fair enough. Do we approve of “just another late-term abortion”?

Hearts need to be changed in order to end abortion. This will not change hearts. We are making progress peacefully.

I don’t hope he gets away.
I don’t hope a jury is lenient.
THis is premeditated cold blooded murder and he ought to get the chair.

Get a clue man, this goof ball killer just handed the media and the rest of the pro-abortion crowd, including lawmakers the best news they have had in years.
This is a lose, lose, lose, for the pro-life movement.
