Kansas Abortionist George Tiller was shot today as he was going to Church.

Interesting I can’t get anyone who has posted in favor of whacking Tiller to answer the questions at post #702.
Not neccesarily. John Newton found Christ but he continued in the slave trade for some years.
Being “saved” is an active ongoing process.
That is true.
Agreed.
Everyone on here claiming the media and government have the right to smear and attack the pro life movement because of the murder of a rabid abortionist, are digging your own graves and I would appreciate it if you would not dig my grave with you!
These smears of the innocent because of the crime of one and Obama’s police using the guilt of one person to legally harass and suspect the innocent, is oppression targeted at a group of their political enemies - the majority! who are prolife. Do you ever see them smear, suspect and hound all environmentalists when one of them kills for the cause? Did you see them smear all Democrats when a Democrat firebombed a Republican campaign office? Do you ever hear environmentalists wail “Oh now we are all guilty because someone killed!” No! Pro lifers who respect our justice system, which rejects guilt by association, are not going to be feeling guilty for another’s crime.
We do not advocate murder.
So please. Get off your high horses of pretend outrage groupthink. Tiller the killer is dead. Period. I did not root for his death. I do not mourn his death. He was a very bad man who corrupted the judcial system, individuals, churches and politicians and who killed a lot of children and who wounded their mothers. His murder means noting about me nor to me. His life of State condoned murder, reaped it’s own turmoil.
I could care less what political media lies and smears are conjured from this act of murder and what politicians who love death and who hate Christians say about it. Guns kill! Prolifers who resist and expose the work of abortionists kill! People who want the borders secure are haters! Just more of the same b.s. from people who are hard up in the political, constitutional, moral and ethical departments of American life.
I agree too. This doesn’t bode well for the day when outright defiance of the government will be necessary. How many here, when “the law” demands that we turn over all our weapons, will comply because it’s the law?
How, then, did we prosecute the Nazi’s for “war crimes”?
They were NOT crimes, when they were done, not by Nazi law!
What about the unaligned? those needed to be persuaded that abortion is vile and should be made illegal? do you care what they think? rank and file Americans, those without a firm commitment to the pro-life cause, who are led to think the pro-life community is peopled by the lunatic fringe, are not likely to join it. anyone seriously hoping for abortion to be made illegal needs to care what the not yet converted think.
I agree with you. In fact, I think doing so could damage the pro-abortion movement. Look who and what they would be defending.
I don’t condone any late term abortions, including this one.
See how utterly stupid that sounds?
Funny referencing DU.
I am a lifelong Republican (except for that brief time with Ross Perot)
(If you would like a private thread of correspondence, I would me more than happy to give you my bio-—especially to a fellow Army veteran)
And no, I really don’t care about “the right to life issue.”
As far as spending so much time on this thread, I’ve been in and out of the house, cutting bushes out of the front yard, here in sunny Florida, and have just left this page open.
I also know that this topic is where I can find the supposed Christians and argue with them.
So if we were murdering 50 million blacks or Hispanics since '73, you're saying all we should do is be angry and let it continue, hell this country was drawn into a civil war for less than that.
Let's chalk this one up as a "late-term abortion" and move on.
It may sound harsh, but let's be totally objective here. There are tens of thousands of people murdered in the U.S. every year, and George Tiller's "profession" as a state-sanctioned killer is the only reason the news of his murder even made it beyond the front page of the local newspaper in the town where he lived.
I don’t think its a matter of “celebrating” or “rejoicing”, as much as it is a resignation of sorts, that one who has murdered so many, died as he lived.
You want my answers?
It begs the questions: If it is your duty to stop the murder of innocents by all means necessary, why haven’t you done what Tiller’s killer did yourself?
Answer: Because I am a wimp and do not have the courage to shoot a man in cold blood. I would, however, consider badly injuring such an unrepentant abortionist so he could not kill again. Like breaking all his fingers on both hands.
Are you advocating that we all go out and start “whacking” all the folks who perform abortions? Or is there a litmus test as to the type and number they can get away with before being “whacked”?
I would rather dialogue with them and hope to convert the more reasonable ones. Prolifers did this with Bernie Nathanson, who killed more than 20,000 unborn children, and they converted him!
I haven’t a what you’re talking about but until the final day of judgement, there is always the possibility of salvation. You theologically ignorant Christians always give me a laugh.
Still have not seen your answers to the questions at post #702.
You dont know that. All you know is that he was shot down in the lobby of a Church. Unless you know exactly what the doctrinal stance/spiritual state of that Church was, then you libel them.
I dont know what Tiller’s relationship with God was. No one but God does. I do know that Jesus broke bread with “sinners”, including adulterers, prostitutes, “terrorists”, thieves, collaborators, liars and even (shudder) lawyers. Unfortunately, Churches are public buildings. Equally unfortunately, the great commission says “Go and make ALL men my disciples”. I’m afraid Churches don’t have the luxury of choosing who they preach the word to.
