Kansas Abortionist George Tiller was shot today as he was going to Church.

You know, there was just a thread about how the dems are waiting for some national tragedy to tighten gun laws.
Watch them use this.
LOL
Stalking folks from thread to thread is verboten.
Thousands of unborn children respectively disagree.
Please don’t get me wrong - I don’t think that this murder was a false-flag operation by the Left / Zer0 / the Illuminati / whomever; I am concerned that it will be exploited by the administration that “never lets a good crisis go to waste.”
My sole consolation is that the oppositon may push too hard, a la Paul Wellstone’s funeral.
Stay away from me.
God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
Perfect statement, and they didn’t waste a second in getting it out.
Good work from Operation Rescue.
I don't think that it's intrinsically evil to kill someone like Mr. Tiller with the intention of stopping the mass serial murder of such a person.
However, in looking at the likely consequences of the deed, that it will likely shore up support for legal abortion, that it will bring disrepute to the cause of life, that it will likely further harden the souls of many pro-deathers, that it will likely put off further the day when abortion is banned, the killing of the scumbag seems immoral because of the great evils it brings about.
There may come a time when a critical mass of Americans decides that the rights of unborn children will ultimately only be vindicated through violence. And then there will be war.
What will be done morally during such a war (including the field trials and summary executions of abortionists) will have been immoral before that time.

“He was a mass murderer”
Actually, “mass” intimates large groups. I think he could be better described as a “serial” killer since he killed them one at a time.
Apparently you prefer to empower our political enemies with lots of juicy material that is easy to find. The evil creep got shot by another evil creep. By any standard of conservatism, that isn't justice under the rule of law, but such is how it is being lauded here.
As to pulling and banning, I didn't ask for any such thing; it is dishonest and hyperbolic of you to suggest that I did. I did suggest that it is not good for FR to have a thread like this on the Breaking News sidebar because so many of the views expressed stray from conservatism toward mob vengeance. I stand by that opinion.
This killing should bring to light the monster this man was to those who live comfortably in this country in the shadow of thousand upon thousands of our unborn killed on a daily basis.
The majority of the country is against partial birth abortion and Tiller was the champion of it. This is a good opportunity for the pro-life movement to shed more light on the atrocities this man has committed over his lifetime.
And I don't share your whacked out opinion that Tiller's killer is as bad as he was, I'm sure the Left will be making that case, you need to be able to counter it.
To tell the truth, the only thing that’s surprising is how little violence there is or ever has been in the pro-life movement, since many legitimate avenues of protest open to other groups are prohibited to us and even when we succeed in getting a law passed, it’s overturned by activist judges. This means that pro-lifers are constantly being pushed to move outside the law.
But the moral law remains in effect for us, and we cannot accept doing evil - murder, destruction - of any kind for the sake of good. Pro-lifers take the sufferings on their own bodies - such as the 83 yr old priest who was taken off in cuffs at ND - but do not inflict them on others.
Still, the fact remains that when the government has set up a situation where there is increasingly less of a way for people to change the law or even protest it legimitately, there are going to be people who get pushed too far.
That said, it’s still possible that this was a personal grudge or something that had nothing to do with abortion. That’s what I’m hoping for, at least, but since Tiller’s entire life was “about” abortion, I’m not very optimistic.
Funny, you were the one who brought the Mormons up.
If it’s not about Mormons, why’d you do that?
This is not the time or place for a personal vendetta.
Grow up.
Isn’t this interesting that the confirmation of Sotomayor will now probably be off the front page. Not saying this is a conspiracy but just the same it is what it is.
While this will be used to harm the pro-life movement it is not the time (never will be) to throw up the hands and declare the fight lost.
Agreed and part of the point I was trying to make. Thank you for adding what you did.
Where did you read this detail about vanity plates?
Tomorrow's news shows will be full of left wingers, from the Brady Bunch to Planned Parenthood, demanding more gun control laws and laws negating 1st, 4th and 5th Amendment Rights of Pro Life org's.
And I can just see Eric Holder's brain spinning on new ways the DoJ can screw us over. And especially Rahm "Let No Crisis Go To Waste" Emmanuel. He's prolly on the phone now with Hairy Reed (sic) and San Fran Nan on writing new laws asap.
Even if the shooter was a leftist moonbat Obama voter and this was about adultery. They'll use this for pushing gun control and getting all medical (mental) records in a gubmint database pdq.
So this sucks, big time.
