Oh no! Not that "evil" carbon! This can only mean that "evil mankind" wrecked a planet somewhere else in the galaxy and that rock was a remnant of their blown up planet.

On a related note, I watched the History Channel’s treatment of Ida last night...it was like watching a documentary on cults.

One guy even went so far as to say it looks as if she lived recently, oblivious to the implications.

They found a fossil of an old lemur, which proves...

they found a fossil of an old lemur.

Something that has been nagging at me about Ida is, how much data have they extrapolated from this one (1) fossil?

During the Korean war, a N. Korean fighter defected with a Mig and they analyzed it for weaknesses.

IIRC, one of the conclusions they reached was that all Migs had lousy heaters, which later turned out to not be the case.

So back to fossils, is Ida really an accurate representation of that type of animal?

If they are not just propaganda artists, they should really dig up a bunch before celebrating their newfound conclusions.
