It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people....True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was...

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive.

But it will GET MUCH WORSE, apparently very soon. All I can say is that if you have cash, or even access to relatively low (and fixed) interest credit...by all means spend it now, while it still has some value. We’ll be lucky to to make it a year before everything we need skyrockets in price.

I've been spending excess cash on stuff I had planned to buy in the future. (Yeah, I know, lucky I have cash but I was hoping to pass it on to my now-grown kids in the future, looks like they'll get other stuff instead.) Been buying stuff that's useful and can be bartered, like welding equipment and metal-working and wood-working tools. Later, if I can't buy what I need I can build it, or build it for someone else in trade. Of course I'm stockpiling the other essentials.

You’ve been reading my posts. About the only manual thing that I don’t do is weld, and I was thinking of taking a class in it this summer. Everything else (but food) is stockpiled for around 4 years, and I wonder if that is long enough. At this point, I’m trying to buy a truck, not because I need it, but as a hedge. I’m almost out of stuff to buy otherwise...I’ve spent close to 10k on this project so far.

His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe....

This was an astounding editorial. One big problem, however, is that 90% of my college students don’t have a clue what the Cold War was. It’s as foreign to them as Korea was to most of us Boomers. Remember, their “lives began” in terms of political memory barely in the late Clinton years, and most of them have only known G. W. Bush and Obama as presidents, and no real domestic threat, as most were young kids when 9/11 happened.

All I can say is that the presumed death of America hasn’t happened yet. these Bozos are engaging in wishful thinking. It is not leaders that make nations, but people, and history has proven that nations sometimes suffer incompetent and insufferable fools like our Kenyan born president. But in the end prevail...
