Dreadful thing for the family, but where was the adult supervision? The article only mentions her seven year old brother who found his sister.

I was on the phone with my daughter and gran daughter at the time this popped up on the news and it almost made me sick to my stomach. For a brief second I imagined how I would feel if it was one of them.
So sad, I'd been wondering if she was improving this morning.

This is why grandma hollers at the kids any time they put something around their neck...
Prayers up for the whole family. What a horrible loss.

For all the craziness Tyson has done, to lose a child in a freak accident like this.
As to adult supervision, at age four, kids can get places you wouldn't believe faster than you can believe. This is so sad.

Condolences to Mike and his family. What a horrible thing to happen.
But.......most treadmill safety lanyards are meant to pop the key loose as an emergency precaution for just these, and similar, reasons (we have one here at the lodge, and that key is everything). I'm trying to figure out how the girl got tangled up in it without it pulling out (DISCLAIMER: I didn't read the article, so I'm not up to speed on the circumstances).

This is a heartbreaking accident.
Liberals will make every treadmill maker and treadmill user pay for this for decades. Count on it.
How could you even disagree with me? You must be heartless.

Holy God,
Be very present with the Tysons as they endure this horrible nightmare. May Your comfort and peace surround them and may Your strength uphold them. You know every bit of pain that they are enduring. Hold them close to Your heart and send ministers of Your love to them. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
