I sure love attending Tea Party events and get to meet so many great people and Florida Freepers too! The next Tea Pary hubby and I will be attending is on June 28th in Sarasota, FL. Sure there will be a big crowd that day at the Sarasota Polo Club! Looking forward to it! :)

I’ll try to make as many of the demonstrations as possible...will be taking trains in with my boys from out of the National Parks...we’ll make a good wall for demonstrations, though...

Yes, Freepers who come to DC will be joining together to visit Walter Reed and then return to the hotel for a candlelight vigil to 9/11 victims.

The hotel details will be posted soon as well as details about the Freeper Convention Events/Banquet. I know it is hard to wait, but it takes time to get all the details ironed out with the hotel.

I was told the best airport to fly into would be the Reagan National Airport.

Now you know how Tami and I and others on the Convention organizing committee feel! Waiting for the hotel to respond, making replies, and waiting again for another reply from the hotel. Also waiting for replies and confirmations from folks we invited to speak at the Convention banquet. All is coming together though, so there are not many more details to get ironed out. I know how ture it is that patience is a virtue!! I know I have a great deal, but sure have had the “holding my breath” feeling! Jean :)

I apologize for my impatience. I know patience is a virtue and waiting is something the Lord continues to work on with me. I have been so discouraged by the news the past week and 'doing something' like the Freeper Convention gives me something to look forward to. I so appreciate all that you and Tami are doing to organdize us! I know the wait will be worth it. My daughter works for the Embassy Suites convention center here and I know putting together a big gig like this takes a lot of creative effort.

Thanks so much, Vor Lady! And NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE! We are all in the same boat being discouraged by the things going on that we know are taking our country down and destroying our Constitutional freedoms! One thing we must know and remember and that is we are NOT alone! Our fellow Americans are becoming active in ways they never have before. When folks attend events the crowd size is really only 10% of the number of folks who wanted to be there but for some reason couldn't. I think we will be surprised at how many Americans show up in DC! To top that off, it is true that folks who were fooled by Obama’s words are now having buyers remorse BIG TIME!!

We American Patriots will not only bring attention to what is going on, but will cause those who are not aware to become aware! Trust me, members of Congress are watching the Tea Party events and grassroots organizations closely as the 2010 elections are already on their minds!

And thanks for your kind words! Tami and I are working with a great committee and are so excited and encouraged by all the great response we have gotten from fellow Freepers everywhere! We are going to have a blast in DC. Almost every state will be represented. Think we just have to get some FReepers from Hawaii to join us! It is such fun to meet Freepers and especially to meet Freepers in your own state so we can organize. That is going to be key in all upcoming elections! See you in DC! :) Jean

Per the FaceBook Freeper group, it seems we have a lot of people who want to go but can’t. How about, at the same time, we also have a virtual event, maybe including live steaming video of the DC event?
