Conservative group takes aim at Reid

WASHINGTON (CNN) — A conservative group is taking aim at Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada.
"Our Country Deserves Better," a conservative political action committee, announced Monday it will air a television ad in an attempt to unseat Reid, who is seeking re-election in 2010. The organization said its campaign "will include a television, radio, and Internet advertising blitz throughout the state of Nevada reminding voters that Harry Reid has stiffed taxpayers with huge government bailouts and wasteful pork-barrel spending."
The conservative PAC said it would spend over $100,000 in it's initial campaign and pledged to dish out over $1 million between now and the November 2010 midterm elections.
"Republicans were successful in defeating Sen. Reid's predecessor, Tom Daschle, in 2004," said CNN Political Editor Mark Preston. "They have now focusing their efforts on trying to defeat another Democratic leader in the next election."
The conservative organization's announcement comes one day before President Obama heads to Nevada to headline a fundraiser for the majority leader.
And it comes one week after a poll of Nevada voters suggested that Reid could be very vulnerable

The Our Country Deserves Better organization is going to be in Las Vegas when Reid and his Community Organizer Fund Raising Chairman Obama beg for money there tomorrow, Tuesday May 26.

Nevada voters should easily see through this hypocrisy and give Reid the boot.
He cleared the way for uncluttered venue to put forth his agenda.
Las Vegas has lost millions because of Obama’s “instructions” to his Corporate holdings not to go to Vegas.

O Reilly just reported that over 400 business conventions have been cancelled in Nevada since BO made his negative comment about Las Vegas. The governor of the state requested a meeting with BO, but BO blew him off......

The president will be staying at Caesars Tuesday night and will be hosting a town hall meeting Wednesday at Nellis Air Force Base. President Obama is expected to talk to military families about the stimulus package. The event is not open to the public.
Actually, the parasite class that is part of the Democrat base will be able to say they are better off because their happiness is based solely on how much they can sponge off the government while doing nothing to earn it or deserve it.
And their votes count as much as ours. That's why it will be a long time before our country climbs out of the economic toilet.
