Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- In a new national survey conducted by the Polling Company for the pro-life organization Americans United for Life, a majority of Americans say they know someone who has had an abortion. A majority of those surveyed also believe that abortion hurts women.

Sorry to inform them. EVEN if Americans did NOT believe it hurts women, the FACTS are it does hurt women....End of Story!
But not nearly as much as it hurts the aborted.
The majority of Americans have come to believe their own eyes and experience over the endless drumbeat of democrat party media propaganda.
My Dad passed on May 1st this year. A good, long life of honor and sharing of blessings. At 87, he left 7 children, 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He worked faithfully for the cause of the unborn for many years and one of the single most important comments made by his long-term priest and friend at his Burial Mass was how many of those children would be there to welcome him. A humbling thought for me.

“A majority of those surveyed also believe that abortion hurts women.”
“But not nearly as much as it hurts the aborted.”
True, but it is important to point out that the woman does not come out of the procedure unscathed. If physical damage isn’t enough, there seems to be lifelong guilt associated with the choice to abort.
You might notice that the media never miss an opportunity to portray child birth as the most excruciating pain that a woman can bear. It is time that physical, mental and emotional toll of the choice to abort are discussed.
May God comfort you in this time of grief and rememberance. I am caring for my dad as we speak, I do not know how long he has, but I am thankful I can be with him and comfort him.
God Bless you.
In my younger years there were 2 instances when athiest/agnostic women sought my friedship and comfort following their respective abortions.
Each was haunted with the clear knowledge they had taken a human life. Religion played no part in this feeling. It was a clear awareness they could not escape.
God bless your father, Emmett.
Hopefully, he’s still doing a bit of work for us from the other side.
God bless you as well. I often wish I’d lived closer so as to be of more help to the rest of the family with Dad, but my kids are here and he would not have liked me leaving them. That would not have honored him - or my Mom. I was in the car on my way to see him when he passed. He knows.
You really said that? Seesh I hope you never try to 'comfort' me.
Thank you kindly. Dad always did like to stay busy so I don’t doubt he’s doing the same there.
She was worried that she would spend eternity in Hell.
Did she ask God for forgivenss?
It was the last part that sounded cruel.
Yes, she asked God for forgiveness, but didn’t believe he would ever forgive her and she certainly has not forgiven herself.
If she is Catholic; did she ever confess this? Had she ever heard of the Rachel’s Vinyard project?
It is worth noting that often times some of the greatest advocates for life are those who have experienced the lonliness and destruction of abortion.
A lot of these women end up on the front lines at abortion clinics and the March for Life.
It is probably very difficult for them to admit, but they have the very unique experience of knowing exactly what will happen to them, physically, emotionally and spiritually, after an abortion.
