Professor: “On an annual basis what is the percentage of volcanic emmission as compared to human emmissions?”
QUOTE: "We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we may have. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest." ~ Stephen Schneider (in interview for Discover magazine, Oct 1989)
“The evolution of the scientific debate about anthropogenic [man-caused] climate change illustrates both the value of skepticism and the pitfalls of partisanship.”
“Scientists are most effective when they provide sound, impartial advice, but their reputation for impartiality is severely compromised by the shocking lack of political diversity among American academics, who suffer from the kind of group-think that develops in cloistered cultures.
Until this profound and well documented intellectual homogeneity changes, scientists will be suspected of constituting a leftist think tank.”
“On the left, an argument emerged urging fellow scientists to deliberately exaggerate their findings so as to galvanize an apathetic public...”
“Conservatives have usually been strong supporters of nuclear power. .. Had it not been for green opposition, the United States today might derive most of its electricity from nuclear power, as does France; thus the environmentalists must accept a large measure of responsibility for todays most critical environmental problem.” ~ Kerry Emanuel - MIT
He sure will.
"Recently many people have said that the earth is facing a crisis requiring urgent action. This statement has nothing to do with science.
"Frankly, the very idea of consensus in such an immature and multi- faceted subject as climate change should be suspicious ab initio. Consensus is largely a propaganda claim designed to relieve ordinary people of the need to understand the issue. This is neither good for science nor for public policy. . " ~ Richard S. Lindzed the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at MIT. Global Warming: The Origin and Nature of the Alleged Scientific Consensus - Vol.15, No. 2, Spring 1992
Can you say "Earth Simulator"??
Cheers!
Volcanos and swamps
So when and where is this debate going to take place?
Steven Schneider quote:
“We need to get some broad based support,
to capture the public’s imagination...
So we have to offer up scary scenarios,
make simplified, dramatic statements
and make little mention of any doubts...
Each of us has to decide what the right balance
is between being effective and being honest.”

I’m a scientist...I don’t have a Phd...but I am perfectly willing to debate him.
Ive had a ton of requests for more global warming information. I dont focus on it as much as I did at the previous site, but Ive started a link list to help you find global warming info quickly. Im avoiding blog posts in the links wherever possible to maintain its integrity, but many blogs have helped in my research especially GatewayPundit.
While I know man-made global warming to be a myth, Earth was warming for nearly a century due to natural cycles. That warming trend has ended for now, and we are currently cooling. Cooling, by the way is far more dire.
This information is not intended to be an attack on clean technology, or anti-pollution measures. Well take those issues on an individual basis, because some are good suggestions while others are asinine.
Please enjoy, and feel free to contribute to the list in the comments.

Virtually all of the climate fearmongers will avoid the issue of other plantets warming. Most of these fearmongers live and thrive on grants and will not tolerate any interference with their high standard of living generated by these grants. Many of the purveyors of human caused global warming are either totally ignorant or absolutely intellectually corrupt.
The difference between computer models and actual field data are tremendous. The IPCC computer model is flawed, because the field data does not back up its findings. I would also like to add when CO2 was as much as 12 times higher, in earlier history prior to when man was on the planet, it was colder than now. Man contributes about 0.3% to CO2 emissions most C02 comes from other places. (animals, bio mass, etc.)
