Powell is not how I want my party to be.

It's worth reading Colin Powell's wikipedia entry to see just how little actual combat experience he had yet managed to get from Captain to 4-Star General without firing a shot or being fired upon.

It's also worth nothing how he worked his way up the chain throughout the 1970s and 1980s by becoming the favorite token black of the Rockefeller RINO folks. Then moving even higher under Reagan and Bush, all the while pretending to be a "good Republican" until he endorsed B. Hussein Obama for his race.

When you're done with him, read the entry for Richard Parsons, the AOL/Time Warner/Citigroup CEO who also flew up the ladder despite being totally unqualified, all by positioning himself at the Rockefeller RINO's favorite token black.

What about this:

1: Biden discovers his “aneurysm” is acting up again, returns to the Senate or some other cushy post

2: Powell replaces him as VP

Like Cheney, I thought he was no longer a Republican.

1- He weaseled himself out of the WMD in Iraq debacle.
2- He and Armitage let Scooter hang.
3- He not only voted for ZerO, he basked in the glory of endorsing him.
4- Now he thinks he defines our party while trying to brand conservatives in the party as the problem.
5- he is an attention whore who is now trying to jump back in the spotlight. And I though Joe Biden liked the camera -sheesh.

I will never respect him any more than ZerO.

Hillary will replace Biden, probably for the 2012 election as Obama’s running mate setting her up for President in 2016.

“Powell has long since destroyed whatever credibility he had with me. He should switch parties and serve within the Obama White House. My take on it is Obama wouldn’t have him there. He’s serving in the only capacity he is useful for right now, well within the confines of the Republican party.

Power is another person who needs to be drop-kicked out of the Republican Party, immediately.”

Thanks for saying it first!

“And on Capitol Hill, some Republican lawmakers — fearful of driving away one of the country’s most popular and charismatic figures — say they are eager to keep Powell in their party despite the policy differences many have with him.”

A microcosm of why the GOP is DOA.

If this plan of O’s was formulated by Powell, then he ought to be mightily ashamed of himself.

I also heard Powell suggesting times have changed when it comes to gays in the military.

So just what republican ideals does Powell actually espouse?

Colon Bowel is a “popular and charasmatic” figure?? Since when?? Oh, I guess because of the color of his skin. Other than that, he is a dem.

Speaking of dems, when was the last time Powell ever critized a dem or the dem party? (insert cricket chirping noise here)

To paraphrase the Duke of Wellington, the GOP should tell Powell to “leave and be damned!”

Dick Morris said on O’Reilly last night that Powell is now in the Powell Legacy business full time, so why should anyone listen to him, least of all the GOP? The man is a has-been.

Powell is a Democrat Trojan horse in the Republican Party.

And when you see someone in a Trojan, you know somebody is going to get screwed.

They GOP continues to play identity politics just like Dems, thinking it's going to win them black votes.

1) Hillary will be nominated to the SCOTUS/

It is a good strategy, but will Hillary give up a shot at the Presidency? On the other hand if Obama looks undefeatable, her age would enter into the equation.

Sen. John Thune (S.D.), a member of the GOP leadership in the Senate, said Powell is “one of the greatest leaders of our generation, and he is at heart a Republican.”

It's a disease I tell you, it’s a disease.
