An excellent poin. I'm not one for hate speech laws and I didn't mean to seem to endorse them, no matter how loathsome the topic. My real loathing in this case was centred around the behaviour of the presiding judge and public prosecutor. If representative of greek society now, it is not heartening...

well tough luck. I do not buy into “law” that charges “racial incitement”

He has the right to say what he wishes under the Greek democracy. Taken to a logical extension this restraint of free speech would equally apply with the same force to any Greek expressing anti-turk opinions. (Turks are mortal and eternal enemies if you haven't heard Androcles)

When I witness the Guardian - that bastion of Leftist doublespeak take a stand against Muslims raping screaming and destroying everything under the guise of their “religion” -— I may rethink this.
