Crushed Lemur Monkey is an Insult to the Evolution Hoax
American Daily Review ^ | 05/20/09 | Yomin Postelnik

Posted on 05/20/2009 12:19:27 PM PDT by Yomin Postelnik

In the latest act of media hyped pseudo-science, aka liberal/conventional science, the discovery of the crushed and flattened fossil of a lemur monkey, that while alive had a shattered left wrist, is being touted as the needed “proof” of Darwinian theory.

For the first time, all scientists interviewed freely admit that the theory of evolution had gaping holes in it. They just claim that all of the answers lie in the packaged, crush fossil that spent the last 20 years hanging on someone’s wall. In other words, they admit that until yesterday, anyone who claimed that there was anything close to conclusive proof of evolutionary was wrong, despite having sold that line for decades. The extent of the absurdity of their new “proof” will be outlined below.

The media, which specializes in hyping the ordinary, went as far as to call this spectacle the possible eighth wonder of the world. These are the same crowd that revels in referring to every new president (regardless of party) as the next possible Lincoln or FDR, every foreign leader the next possible Churchill and every Vice President of the United States…. Well, I guess there are some things that even today’s media cannot hype.

Could it be? The founder of PETA?
No.....

I feel bad for the poor little thing being held up as some ridiculous proof by the evolutionists. But she is doing a good job of helping them make fools of themselves - she must enjoy it.

"lemur monkey"

Recognition that it's neither a lemur(Infraorder Lemuriformes, Suborder Strepsirhini ), nor a monkey "simian" (infraorder Simiiformes, Suborder Haplorrhini).

It links to both (what used to be a "missing link").

Darwin scores again (Hasn't he done well?)

Would you like to debate the scientific merits of both sides?

If both sides had scientific merit, then perhaps.

In this instance “science’s” current understanding of the preservation of natural materials would have to be off by almost 80 million years. Slight miscalculation don’t you think?

Ha! Not as big a miscalculation as 4.5 billion vs. 6,000 years old for the age of the Earth.

You go side with the frauds at the Discovery Institute if you want. I'll stick to modern geology.

True, only the creationist side meets logical criteria, but that answer’s a cop out and acknowledgment of ignorance - so do you care to change that answer?

PS - I don’t mean to be kurt. It’s just a matter of setting the record straight and getting truth and logical analysis going.

Snap.

I've noticed that a lot of the young earth creationist anti-evolution types are noobs, whereas a lot of the pro-science people have been here for a long time. I've had members of the class of 2007 tell me I don't belond here because evolution is for liberals.

Unfortunately, telling them to piss off doesn't make them go away.

Yes, bronze age goat herders knew much more about the age of the universe than the entirety of modern geology.

Keep up the peer reviewed research. I'm sure you'll make many breakthroughs; maybe some day you'll tell us why the dinosaurs decided not to get on the ark.

Free also means I can point out the nonsense called Darwinism is nothing but dry rot and you’re still Free to go if you aren’t happy about it.

“Unfortunately, telling them to piss off doesn’t make them go away.”

Maybe addressing the issue at hand with an intelligent answer will make them go away. Maybe you should try it. The discussion is regarding conclusions of this find, whether or not it is a true transitional specie or whether it is another distinct specie separate and apart from any other ancestral specie.

It’s also funny watching how every thread on FR about this brings out the evolutionists, not to discuss the science, but to try to shout down the discussion, or even threaten to get it removed from the web site.

Of course, I understand their point that we don’t want to look foolish. On the other hand, while many of them defend the “science” in this case, they agree that the “science” of global warming is mostly made up. I’m not sure why they can’t make the connection that if scientists are willing to sell their souls for the religion of environmentalism, they would equally be willing to do so for the religion of naturalism.

Like I said, the science community is pushing Global Warming as good science and trying to stifle debate on the subject, which is what they have done with evolution as well. Science is mostly junk. History has shown that and I have carefully looked at the history of science and all the wrong conclusions it has put forth, all the politics that have corrupted it, etc. Science does not have a good history about being right or being honest. It just doesn’t.

Global Warming exposes science for what it is: politically corrupted and junk science at best. There is no getting around this and anyone who questions this only needs to look at global warming and how science has handled that subject to see what science is all about.

When its ends are political or religious, yes.

Well GumRunner, I’m not a YEC. But the drum-bangers for Darwinism can call that fantasy “science” if they wish since there is false and corrupt science being practiced too.

You can call it a “fantasy”, “cult”, or “religion” all you want. It still doesn’t get you any peer-reviewed data supporting ID or creationism.

“Science is mostly junk.....Science does not have a good history about being right or being honest. It just doesn’t.”

He says, typing on his computer, in air conditioned comfort, in a building insulated from harsh climate, powered with electricity generated with metallurgically-advanced turbines. Reading with optics-correcting lenses, munching on foods brought over vast distances and complex logistics to his table with teeth capped and filled by advanced dentistry, a body kept healthy with advanced pharmaceuticals......

Science is bigger than individual scientists. But you knew that. Should we judge followers of Christ by the acts of Judas? Afterall, if he could turn, it must mean that all Christians must be betrayers of Christ, right?
