WASHINGTON On both economic and national-security fronts, President Barack Obama is giving ground and crossing swords with political allies.
Caught in the worst economic downturn in generations, Obama has had to temper his stance on trade and lower his expectations for trimming charitable tax breaks for the wealthy and for taxing greenhouse-gas polluters.
He's not the first president to be pulled toward the political center after being elected. But the recession and two wars abroad put him in a particularly tough spot with smaller margins for error.
With the deficit mushrooming, lawmakers in both parties are worrying more and more about rivers of government red ink. ..

They can all crash and burn together. The media is deserving of all the problems they are having now. More karma to follow for their Precious.

Headline should be:
“Please buy into this crap...”

A more correct headline would be:
“Analysis: Obama moving from extreme left to far left on some issues”

Nationalizing banks -- mainstream
Nationalizing car companies -- centrist
Killing infants born alive -- everybody does it
Cozying up with Islamic terrorists -- this is what Middle America has been asking for.
Have I got this right?

I have noticed some rather strange decisions of Obama’s, as of late. I still don’t think they reveal him moving to the right. I think the guy is in over his head, and he’s having to back down on some of his more zani plans.
We shall see in time, but I’m withholding some judgments of this guy.
Now this, “’Afghanistan’ could well be Obama’s Vietnam, eventually,” said James Thurber, a political scientist at American University. You name it when it comes to military action, and it’s the next Vietnam to just about every University Professor.
The first Gulf War.
The current Iraq portion of the War on Terrorism.
Our actions in Afghanistan.
When are these loons going to update their play book?

Buttociated Press serving up more American Pravda.
Maybe if your vantage point starts at Left and you see RINO Republicans as “Extreme right wing”, then the political football is moved Left (witness the 1968 New Democrats who now run the Party and the Media).
