Obama’s Jenkinsist Catholics scheme
The Collins Report ^ | May 19, 2009 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

Posted on 05/19/2009 6:04:58 AM PDT by jmaroneps37

Adolph Hitler had his Vichy French and boot licking quislings throughout Nazi Europe, but he was always wary of and hated Catholics because they refused to knuckle under to his lies. Hitler was right about Catholics.

It was Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, a member of Germany’s Roman Catholic nobility, who led the effort to kill him in July 1944.

To counter the Catholic Church Hitler actually created a Nazi Church and many non Catholic Christian Churchmen went along with the sham.

Barack Obama is many things but not a fool. He recognizes the real Catholic Church, whose members voted against him, is the last remaining obstacle to his Marxist style total control of our lives.

He can not directly shut down the real Catholic Church. That would be a time consuming, counterproductive losing proposition and frankly quite unnecessary.

Obama is way too smart to stir up resistance among real Catholics with an overt move toward shutting down the real Catholic Church.

He can’t take over the real Catholic Church so he’s starting his own Church, the Jenkinsist Catholic Church. He knows the media will turn its back on the real Catholic Church and always go to Jenkinsist Catholics for comments knowing what answers they will give.

Obama’s Jenkinsist Catholics will claim to be Catholic just as Frances Kissling of Catholics For a Free Choice claims to be a real Catholic. Eventually the media will only interview Jenkinsist bishops, and real Catholic bishops will be ignored.

The beauty of it all is breathtaking. The more real Catholic bishops demand adherence to real Catholicism the more Jenkinsist Catholics will appear. It will be like trying to pour the ocean into a hole on the beach.

Obama’s actions/ appointments make him the most anti real Catholic president ever. More on this tomorrow.

If Father Jenkins thinks this is over he is wrong. The issue is beginning to draw out Jenkinsist Catholic schools around the country as the proudly join the "progressive" wing of the American Catholic Church.

I don’t know who this Collins guy is, but he needs to learn his history.

He wrote:

I reality, Hitler created the German Christian sect to appeal to PROTESTANTS. Hitler couldn’t create a viable alternative to the Catholic Church that could claim to be catholic or Catholic!

The pope believes in subsidiarity. This was a problem at Noter Dame - IN AMERICA. That’s where it should be solved. The pope need not get involved. Sadly the problem was not solved. The pope will act in his way and he will do so - most likely - with restraint and quietly.

Meanwhile, you’ll whine about something else that some Catholic has or has not done to your satisfaction. If you could only see beyond your bigotry. Pity.

Obama's
MIDDLE GROUND
on abortion
is really a
"FREE FIRE ZONE"

No questions will be asked if a baby is aborted at any time, for any reason.

Sounds like you have no clue about Catholics.

We who oppose this, including the Vatican are the real Catholic Church.

“According to organizers of ReplaceJenkins.com, a Web site critical of Notre Dame President Rev. John Jenkins’ decision to host President Obama, more than 1,400 pledges have been received from alumni and donors promising to withhold future donations, a tally of nearly $14 million.”

Because you wish it, does not make it so.

Obama is a political opportunist and Fr. Jenkins created a schism at the second most recognizable Catholic institution only to the Vatican and handed it to Obama.

Zero got what he wanted, the Alumni withholdings will be replaced by governement funds. Open your eyes. Withholding pledges will do nothing.

Witholding students will.
I’m seeing a backlash already. Irish parishioners who would have cut off an arm to get their 8 to 10 kids to Notre Dame are now applying for Franciscan University in Steubenville. This opened the eyes of many Catholics that they have to look very carefully at that “Catholic” label.

We reap what we sow.

"Withholding students will."

These too can and will be replaced with his followers children, paid for with tax dollars.

The Government will "guarantee" a student for every one that is with held.

I still stand behind my original statement.

Well, we’ll see how it works out.
I can tell you that from what I’ve seen on FR, non-Catholics don’t want to go to a Catholic University. With as many Bishops that spoke out against this, and as many Catholics with “vote regret”, they will be hard pressed to fill the University.

My wife and I call the Jenkinsists "Cafeteria Catholics". It is clear that many of the younger Catholics do not like all the teachings of the Church and have opted to take positions contrary to the Church. I did not like George W. Bush for his stand on capital punishment and yet each of his opponenets were far more liberal in many areas including abortion.

As the Notre Dame debate reached certain levels over the past month or so, I would hear of "leaders" such as a Harvard Medical School physician who is a Democrat Catholic say the hardline stance would drive people away from the Church. My position is you either believe what the Church teaches or you don't. You can't make up the parts you want to follow, that would be some other church not the Catholic one.

This is true. I think all Universities will suffer from the "voter remorse" backlash. For the most part our country does have deep seated roots in faith and God.

There are the fringe groups that get all the face time in the media so it always seems that we are outnumbered, but we are not.

14% of the population has been dictating policy to the other 86% for awhile now, because we (the 86%)have grown complacent and tired. Arguing with the left is tantamount to catching fireflies with a fishing net, no matter how hard you try it is just a waste of time.

The sleeping Giant is stirring but has not been fully awakened yet, it will happen sooner than most want to agree to.

Creating AMCHURCH® is the goal here -- but the Nazi analogy is incorrect; the analogy is the Patriotic Church created in Red China.

I agree with your statement. Since the pro-death crowd doesn't have a leg to stand on with regards to an intellectual debate on abortion (neither faith nor reason), they have been trying to push the issue down the ladder as "not a big deal". With the Obortion speaking at Notre Shame this weekend, the left has stirred a hornets nest and we are beginning to see the fruits of the last couple of years of the pro-life movement.

Nevertheless, since it took a little more than a generation for liberalism to come into the Church it is going to take a least a generation to purge it.

Blame dissension in the Catholic Church of Vatican II and the Boomer generation, the youngsters are just following their parents example. Bishops and Priests have been derelict in their duties to their flock for the last 30 yrs. we are reaping what they have sown. The life issue is the # 1 issue for the Catholic Church but while many brave Bishops came out strong on the issue of abortion the silence of so many more was deafening. The social justice crowd (Marxists) won this round.

The American Catholic Church IS a fabian progressive church that tries to pretend it’s something it is not. The Church of which you speak is the Roman Catholic Church, in America.
