Three verbal protesters taken out of Notre Dame commencement

NOTRE DAME — Shortly into President Obama’s commencement speech Sunday afternoon at the University of Notre Dame, three people were escorted out of the Joyce Center. The first two people briefly interrupted Obama’s speech.

The first man began shouting “You owe an apology to the Mother of God.”

A second man, from near the back of the Joyce Center, shouted, “Abortion is murder.”

The two men were loudly booed by the crowd as they were being removed by security staff.

In response to the verbal protests, Obama said, “We’re alright. We’re fine everybody. We are not going to shy away from things that are uncomfortable sometimes.”

As Obama continued with his speech, a few minutes later a third man was removed from the crowd.

He was shouting “Stop killing our children.”

This is one of the most disgusting events in history.
