I’ve never had a car warrantee in my life. But I was getting these dam calls. On my cell phone no less.
SO Good to hear! I laughed when I got the first call, all of our cars are over 20 years old! Should I be surprised that my warranty is OVER?
I wasn’t laughing after the second, third, fourth and on .. calls that I got.
I've gotten several of them and the latest one, three days ago, I followed the prompts and got a female. In answer to each of her questions I demanded they remove my number from their call list. The last time I stated my request she said "NO" and hung up.
I have already reported them to the FCC and for whatever reason they can't do anything about it as detailed in a written response to my complaint.
Gosh, I thought the government was supposed to be the answer to all our junk phone calls by implementing the "Do Not Call" list..........LOL!
Similar calls assure me that my (nonexistent) credit card bill can be resolved and that I can get my (nonexistent) mortgage back on track. They will NOT give you any information about who they are.
Hopefully the ‘robo-calls’ from the politicians will also get stopped.

The first time I got a call from these people,
I was on the freeway and they somehow got my
cell phone number.
The other company that is just as annoying is
credit services. I pretend I’m interested in
rolling over my non existent balance when I talk
to them, and I’ll put them on hold, however,
sometimes I’ll get a rude employee who hangs
up on me before I can say “hold on, please”.

I was thinking about doing the same.
I got three or four calls... AFTER they allegedly took me off their list.
(Of course, I did string them along and ask how much it would cost to renew the warranty on my 1962 Chevy pick-up or my 1982 Oldsmobile for the first two calls.)
It appears government needs to also go after the credit card services people. I hate those people, too many
times I’ve dropped what I’m doing to go answer the
phone, only to have them at the other end of the line.
And it does no good to tell them to take you off their calling list.
My wife applied for a job the other day in NC and she got called. They asked her a lot of questions, like they were filling out an application with her over the phone and then they said, “ok, in order for us to send you the application for the job all we will need is your credit card number.” My wife asked why and they hung up. INTERESTING NEW SCAM.
Not good enough yet, put the bastards in jail for a long, long time.
As soon as somone turns up the address and phone number to these SOB's, post it please.
