WASHINGTON — South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham praised President Barack Obama's decision to maintain a system of military tribunals for some of the detainees reflects the standards he originally advocated before the Supreme Court forced a compromise with President George W. Bush.
Graham, a military lawyer who's served on active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, said he's had three conversations with Obama since December about detainee issues, along with more frequent contacts with senior administration and military officials.
"We've got a chance to start over and do what I wanted to do seven years ago," Graham said. "That is, to create a hybrid system that will . . . make sure that every detainee has robust due process, but that every case is reviewed from a national security perspective."

Graham is to me an ignorant snark. Where do these people come from and how on Earth do they ever get elected? One of the great mysteries of life I suppose.

Lindsey Graham is one of the great examples of a person who wants to be a DC insider at any cost whatever. Kind of like his mentor, John McCain. I’m glib, he thinks to himself. I can get away with this stuff.
And normal people look at him and think “what a slug.”
When is this Republicrats term ending and surely there must be a real Republican in that state willing to challenge him in a primary.

So Obama is not doing much of anything different than what Bush was doing(so far). The so called ‘evidence gathered during enhanced interrogations’ was already not going to be used to my understanding. Not sure what the hearsy tinkering is all about, but it doesn’t sound like much either.Most of these terrorists were caught on the battlefield with guns or bombs in their hands.....what other ‘evidence’ do you need? I suppose the Obama drones won’t be able to tell the difference though....lol.
I wish all of the RINOS would just leave and let us have a chance on 2010.

Grahamnesty probably feels a sense of loyalty because zero plans to lift DADT in the military.
Unfortunately the RINOs in this state just reelected him.
