Press Releases Contact: Brendan Daly/Nadeam Elshami 202-226-7616 For Immediate Release 05/15/2009 Pelosi Statement on Panetta Message to CIA Employees

Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued the following statement today in response to a message today to CIA Employees from Director Leon Panetta:

“We all share great respect for the dedicated men and women of the intelligence community who are deeply committed to the safety and security of the American people. My criticism of the manner in which the Bush Administration did not appropriately inform Congress is separate from my respect for those in the intelligence community who work to keep our country safe. What is important now is to be united in our commitment to ensuring the security of our country; that, and how Congress exercises its oversight responsibilities, will continue to be my focus as we move forward.”

Yep, Pelosi has made too many enemies in her own party.

“everything is Bush’s fault”

These dims are like Pavlov’s dog. You just know what they’re going to do and say. And - they - and their media lapdogs - expect all of us to be Pavlov’s dog too. Hmmmph.

“I am sure the Zer0 has given the OK to take her out.”

We can hope for continued major infighting among them.

A permit and an environmental impact statement - especially if she hits oil!

George J. Tenet was the Director of CIA, from 1997–2004 .

Enough said. Do you suppose the media will follow up and ask exactly who was in charge of the CIA in 2002? Do not bet on it.

Pelosi has made too many enemies in her own party.

Well, she's out as a democrat. The Republicans don't want her.

The real joke would be Cindy Sheehan and Pelosi 'switching places'.

A year ago, I would think that joke was just a joke. These days I'm not sure.

Pelosi said the CIA misled her and yet she has great respect for them?

Is it just honest people that she doesn't have respect for?

She would make a lousy expert witness, the way that she contradicts herself all most of the time!

The CIA’s self-loathing fetish continues. The leadership comes and goes but I’m betting the career agents are getting really sick of their organization falling on the sword to protect liberal hacks.

You’re all liars! Liars I say! You misled me!

Time for the Lib woman sympathy getter move? A Patsy Shroeder/Hillary crying moment may get everyone (DBM) to say.... hey wait a minute, she made a mistake, lets just forgive and move on. Oh and BTW remember it's still Bush's fault.

Yeah buddy, the more they stir up the hornet’s nest, the more they get stung. Maybe we ought to be encouraging the new soviets in DC to conduct all kinds of investigations. It would be interesting to see all the treachery the dims did to GWB over his two terms. Might show too much light on the dims.

Government leaders are becoming concerned about Speaker Pelosi's ability to climb out of her hole...

We are agreed that Hoyer is, or would project as, far more rational than Pelosi. However, his ties to the Obama Administration (Rahm) are a little too strong for me to believe for one second that his holding the Speakership would be that much better on national security issues.

No way will they point out that Tenent a Clintoonian appointee was the CIA director when Peloshi was suffering from her amnesia.

Which is why we need to bring it up.

The only thing wrong with Nancy is her lack of rhetorical skills, which have exposed the deep mistrust and hatred that the current power structure has for our intelligence community and military.

She is just one of the vast global leftwing cabal which has seized power in Washington, all with a like mind, and a true disdain for the founding ideals of our nation, and thus will be protected at all costs.

After all when brazen tax cheats are put in charge of the IRS and the House Ways and Means Committee, an anti-constitutionalist is put in charge of the DOJ, a pro-infanticide radical is put in charge of HHS, why would you expect anything different ?

The real question is what are we going to do to expose these people for what they really are and hand the reigns of power back to the people as intended.

""Moving forward . . . "

In other words, I realize my goose is cooked, so I'll say nothing further about it other than to lay the blame for everything I said at the feet of George Bush (as the MSM and liberal loons all fall in line).
