After Notre Dame: No ‘abortion rights’ only Human Rights

If it can and if it does not, I suspect that the Catholic Church is going to lose big, perhaps as bad as it did over the gay priests.

Perhaps by Monday, Obama will announce that he and his family have converted to catholicism and changed his name to Kennedy.

Now there’s a twofer if ever there was... Black man, a Catholic with the Kennedy name in the Oval Office... nobody will ever be able to top that.

Not really, as Notre Dame is controlled by a Board of Trustees, which does not answer to anyone.

That is a shame, because the entire Catholic Church is going to take the heat and this kind of shame will live for at least as many years as we continue to kill babies.

I have trouble understanding the bible, but this garbage is beyond all comprehension for me. Frankly, I think it may be all about money.... THAT could very well bring an end to the Catholic Church.

Two weekends ago, I attended my first mass in decades. My granddaughter had her first Communion. While I was disappointed in some of the changes I observed, it felt very good to be there.

If this garbage goes through, I don’t think I will ever be able to return. I guess I will just have to have faith that God will let me in through some other door.... a shame and I’m feeling sad.
