US First Lady Michelle Obama is not a "great beauty," but will "just get better with age," Iman, one of the first black supermodels, says in a magazine interview.

"Mrs Obama is not a great beauty," the Somali-born model and wife of rocker David Bowie tells Parade magazine's Sunday issue, reflecting on the first black US first lady, who is a lawyer by training and a former executive.

She is neither a beauty, nor is she bright. It is incredible how people continue to delude themselves about that which is plainly obvious. Incidentally, why are they trying so hard to make her look like a white girl?

Bowie has over a 100 million dollars, impeccable artistics sensibility, the ability to write a catchy tune and a nice sense of style. I think she did pretty well.

Here is the rest of her statement. Seems that no matter how much you have in this life if you are black you have been discriminated against.

"You suddenly represent a whole race, and that race goes, ?Well, that person does not represent our ideals of beauty.? Regardless, Bowie has publically renounced his behavior in those areas, and even if he hadn’t, he certainly would have upgraded since the 70s.

I got news for Iman but no Somalis were ever house “ni$$ers” here nor even slaves in the Americas for that matter.

Somalis themselves brought many Bantus north from lower east Africa as their own chattel slaves....wonder if Iman or Davie know that?

This is so much fun to watch...

Highbred Somalis and Eritreans and other “Horn Peoples” do more fit the universal ideal of beauty than say Coramatees, Mandingos or other west African tribals

some groups are just prettier than others....and beauty does in time float to the top of the wealth heap...historically rich men procreate with the prettiest women in most cultures, or the more militarily powerful as well by force
