24 April 2009, Elder Street and Georgia Avenue, Washington, DC
DC Chapter Members in attendance: The usual suspects rongkirby, Fraxinus, Trooprally, Lurker Bill, cindy_true_supporter, BufordP, Mr. & Mrs Trooprally
Lacking inspiration this report is more than late. Not much new happens outside Walter Reed. We havent had a confrontation with the Azzhats in years. The Azzhats dont even light candles for their vigil anymore. So its understandable that attendance has dropped off.
However, Ron G did learn a valuable lesson which I will share. It was taught by Mr. Trooprally. Its fairly easy to remember so if on the off you were to visit some Friday, you could jump in with the MOAB assembly and not look like a newbie.
The rule is as follows:
DOUBLE BLUE ON TOP
Not the rule from The Kama Sutra
Check the pictures below:
Mrs. T looks on calls Mr. T to the rescue.
Grasshopper, let us begin together with the chant, Double Blue on top, Single Blue on bottom.
MOAB UP!
It’s there
Great job JVB . Looking good!!
[Mrs]T
FYI - RED is for the side frame supports
and NO PAINT is for the frame support. :-))
Still chuckling - Ha ha ha ha haa
PS - hope tonight is just as "uninspiring", seems that is when you do your best work.
[Mr] T
Oh rats. :/
I saw the headline and thought, the Walter Reed guys taught Ron Kuby a lesson?! Cool! lol
Well....it’s about time. I’ve been holding my breath; turning purple; growing faint. Where have you been? Boring or not, I want my AARs immediately, not next month. Besides, now that it’s summer, I look forward to seeing “leggs” every week.
RON, Why am I laughing? I would have no idea how to assemble it! Now you can teach me!
Thanks DC FReepers, for all the effort you put forth to represent all the rest of us.
Thank You Nan.
Yep, JVB’s face looked warm and fuzzy during the winter months when that was all one could see. But now that summer is here, the ‘finer’ parts are showing though.
[Mr] T
The MOAB is being assembled in the lot very near the Walter Reed FReep site
Gotta get up there one of these days ...
