Pelosi: Bush briefers lied to me
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says Bush administration told her explicitly they weren't using waterboarding on terror detainees during a Sept. 2002 briefing on interrogation tactics -- months after they had begun waterboarding Abu Zabaydah.
Pelosi also called on CIA director Leon Panetta to release full details on her briefing -- and shook her head in the affirmative when asked if the administration had actually "lied" to her.
"The only mention of waterboarding in the briefing was that it was not being employed," she told reporters, reading from a prepared statement -- twice for emphasis.
The intelligence briefers gave Pelosi, she said, "inaccurate and incomplete information."
"Perhaps they should release the briefing-- I would be very happy if they released the briefing," Pelosi added.
Someone who appeared on Glenn Beck has already filed for a FOIA to get these records....Glenn is sure they’ll disappear. Fox news is suggesting that Pelosi also release her OWN records...see what she’s got on file regarding the briefings!

It sure took her handlers a long time to figure out how to spin this. It’s a pretty sad statement when it takes days to come up with the right lie.
I was thinking that this morning, along with the way his campaign team used the media to go after Hillary. I don't think he liked his mother, and he threw his grandmother under the bus, so it's been my thinking for a long time that Obama simply doesn't like women at all.

I’m loving every minute of this. She’s squirming and wriggling like a worm on the hook.
I always wonder who is behind her. That woman isn’t bright enough to change a lightbulb by herself. There HAS to be someone, her chief of staff maybe, who is calling the shots.

Reminds me of Kerry saying he voted to authorize the president to SAY he was going to use force in Iran, not to actually DO so. To pull a gun but not actually FIRE it.

Well,we all knew it would somehow be Bush’s fault.
I know what you are saying but......Congress needs to be cleaned out. We don’t need to have people like this in Washington nor do we want them. The more you have, the more control they will have.
