Pelosi: Bush briefers lied to me
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says Bush administration told her explicitly they weren't using waterboarding on terror detainees during a Sept. 2002 briefing on interrogation tactics -- months after they had begun waterboarding Abu Zabaydah.
Pelosi also called on CIA director Leon Panetta to release full details on her briefing -- and shook her head in the affirmative when asked if the administration had actually "lied" to her.
"The only mention of waterboarding in the briefing was that it was not being employed," she told reporters, reading from a prepared statement -- twice for emphasis.
The intelligence briefers gave Pelosi, she said, "inaccurate and incomplete information."
"Perhaps they should release the briefing-- I would be very happy if they released the briefing," Pelosi added.
(Likely reason for no picking Hillary as VP)...which puts Hillary on the same rung as Madeline Albright.

Steny Hoyer is just sitting back and grinning, he knows there is a good chance he’ll have the gavel over this.
This reminds me of a trial that I had to serve jury duty on a few years back, where the perp pretty much threw everything including the kitchen sink at us in a desperate effort to avoid conviction. Never mind that none of his stories matched the evidence, and all contradicted each other.

She’s basically calling the CIA flat-out liars and daring them to release their “briefing notes”. OMG, I hope they find a way to do that and it comes back to slap that silly biotch smack in the face.

The minutes have been scrubbed and redacted. There will be no evidence and she will claim that because there is no evidence that she is correct that Bush lied.
