What else is there to do this early in the morning?

The Big O specialized in triple doubles (averaging double digits for points, rebounds, and assists per game).
The Big Zero, by contrast, specializes in tripling our deficit and (eventual) double digit inflation.

Not perhaps, it is Oscar R. He was the Michael Jordan of his day.

Thanks. I’ve never been much of a hoops fan, so I’m undereducated on the subject.

Now that I’ve looked over Oscar Robinson’s Wikipedia bio, I understand why I’ve never heard of him as “The Big O” (although I have heard his name).
I was 8 when he retired - and my Dad didn’t watch pro basketball. ;-P
Thanks for the info, everyone.

I remember an interview Robertson gave after the Bucks got Alcindor (Jabbar), who, because of his physical attributes, was taking over the point-scoring duties, but Robertson was still the assist leader. The interviewer asked how he felt about not being the scoring leader and Robertson replied he preferred it that way because teams with more balanced scoring among their players had better winning records, on average. He preferred the assist-playmaker role. I thought that was a very unselfish attitude and I have always had a sneaking admiration for Robertson because of it (even though he had a hand in dethroning the Knicks in the 70-71 season). That was back when basketball was really basketball, not this “showtime” crap that passes for it today.
