Bozell: Media Work as 'Pamphleteers' for Obama
newsmax.com ^ | 5/10/09 | Jim Meyers

Media watchdog Brent Bozell tells Newsmax that the national media are so slanted to the left that they have been "pamphleteers for the Obama administration."

Bozell, founder and president of The Media Research Center — which tracks liberal bias in the media — also said that the major TV networks have refused to call Obama a socialist or even a liberal even though he is "the most radical left-wing president in the history of the United States."

Since liberals hate to be called "liberals," I suppose Socialists hate to be called "Socialists" as well. Meanwhile the media continues to salivate, slobber, and drool all over Hussien and Michelle. Think for a moment if Nancy Reagan had shown up in $500+ shoes. The marxist media would have crucified her for weeks without letup. Yet not a peep on Michelle. Just admiration at her fashion sense. Meanwhile the newspapers continue to drop like rancid, putrid dead flies, and I look forward to the day when all big city papers are gone for good.

There's a term for the MSM's adoration of The One:

Fanboi: a term used to describe any man who is devoted to a single subject in an emotional or fanatical manner, or to a single point of view within that subject, often to the point where it is considered an obsession.

WE CANNOT ALLOW ANY NEWSMEDIA BAIL-OUT. Once the government has direct influence over the media and can hire and fire it’s bosses and give papers to the unions, it is all over.

While most conservatives in cities and sububan areas have access to high speed internet, a vast number of conservative or moderate folks in the midwest and rural areas only have dial up available and are not able to access online publications that give an alternative to the government line.

Well, for this one, regarding the $500 SNEAKERS, Michelle Obama was wearing, and the different reaction anyone Republican First Lady would’ve gotten, I won’t even have to paraphrase Arthur Koestler, who knew a lot about Communism and Totalitarianism: “The ‘oppressed’ long for nothing more than to slip into the shoes of their ‘oppressors’. So here we have a LITERAL example, which, like a thousand other things they do, TRUMPETS to the rest of the world “It’s OUR TURN,BABY!!”

During Bubba Clinton’s reign we used the more vivid term
BUTTBOY.

A lot of folk talk about "separation of church and state". The idea that the federal government would give $1B to the Baptists is ridiculous, it just wouldn't happen -- the First Amendment would come into play.

Of course, if the NYT needs money to stay afloat, the federal government stands by, ready to help!

Disgusting.

The most impressive proof of press complicity in the community agitator's agenda occurred during the recent Chrysler imbroglio. The "car czar" supposedly threatened the holdout secured investors that the White House press corps would be unleashed on the offending creditors. How is it that the "press corps" can be depended upon to do the bidding of the White House?

And not a single whisper of complaint from the press corps that the White House has this impression of them as fawning minions.
