Sen. Dianne Feinstein recently said that she will pick the time, she will pick the place and she will bring back the failed Clinton gun ban. And she said President Obama will sign it.
Most of the media has swept it under the rug, like always. But they can't deny it any longer and there's no doubt about it. They're coming after every law-abiding gun owner in America. They want your name and personal information in a federal database. That's right - national registration of all firearms.
The Speaker of the House - Nancy Pelosi - fully admitted her gun registration plan, in an admission wrapped around outright untruths about the Second Amendment and our freedom.
When pressed about her goals for gun legislation on ABC's "Good Morning America," Pelosi said: "... The Supreme Court has ruled in a direction that gives more opportunity for people to have guns, (not true) ... We never denied that right. (Really?) ... We don't want to take their guns away (sure, Nancy) ... We want them registered and we have to rid the debate of the misconceptions that people have about what gun safety means."
(Actually, gun owners fully know gun safety a lot better than you do, gun owners want "crime control" but you refuse to oblige them, like always).
Pelosi's idea of "gun safety" is every gun ban, ammunition ban, and licensing scheme that has come across her desk. She's spent an entire congressional career voting to deny the rights of lawful gun owners.
Now, she's put out her congressional agenda - coming soon: "We want them registered."
They can't deny it. And they can't deny the determination and might of America's lawful gun owners, who don't want their names in some national government database, just waiting to be abused by Second Amendment-hating bureaucrats. We have known for years who our enemies are within our own government.
American gun owners fully understand what gun registration leads to. So, bring it on, Speaker Pelosi. We're ready, as the Supreme Court is with us, not you, and not Sen. Feinstein.

They can have them....
If they can catch me and catch lead.

Also, the second option offers regular multi-year memberships at reduced prices.
They are idiots with power....
I will never ever register my guns!!!!!
If you were,by chance, ever charged under Federal or state law (assuming they *could* charge you) would you take the case through the state and/or Federal courts like Heller did? Just curious....not trying to give you a hard time.
Don’t just do it for them (to piss them off), do it because it will please you. guaranteed.
Again, and repeat after me, folks: They can pass whatever ‘legislation’ they want, we’re not giving up the guns, period. And if they come after them, our Founding Fathers would be very disappointed if we we don’t exercise the implicit rights they gave us.
The question is....just how many Maoists will Osama be able to appoint to the SCOTUS and just who will they be replacing?
Come and get ‘em...one round at a time!
They KNOW we've got them. So now, all they have to do is figure out how they're going to get them away from us, and live to tell about it. They know that we understand why they want our guns. It's so they can control us, and we're not going to let that happen. NO ONE bought new guns and more ammo, just so they can turn them in if they ban our guns. I think we're in better shape now than ever before because their evil plans backfired on them.
Yep. They've got a real delima on their hands!
That’s why we should buy what we want now. They’re waiting for when the time is right to bring the law down on owners, so investments now will prove prudent later.
And the voters - even CA's voters - will throw her ass out of office.
People understand whats at stake here, and they understand the government's motives.
It wouldn't particularly please me.I'm not a hunter and never have been...not many folks living in Greater Boston are hunters.I live in a relatively safe and quiet area so crime isn't a huge consideration.Yes,I'd enjoy some occasional target shooting.....the rifle range was the only true enjoyment I got out of my illustrious Army "career" (71 Bravo...clerk typist). The greatest pleasure I'd get,as I suggested earlier,is that Osama Hussein Obama doesn't want me to have one and will do everything within his powers (including the appointment of SCOTUS justices) to deny me the right.
Go ahead Nancy, kick that hornets nest...
Neither will I. If I had guns that is. Because I don't have any. Not one.
It happened in Chicago with handguns. Originally the registration process was easy and *somewhat non intrusive* (you did it once and that was that). But THEN, in 1984 Chicago passed an ordinance refusing the registrations of all new handguns (they were now legally Banned). Only handguns that were previously registered were allowed to be renewed. And now you had to register yearly. So by now,2009, there's prolly NO legally registered handguns in Chicago, all by attrition.
Annnnd in Cook County IL, about a year ago or so now, the County Board passed an 'Assault Weapon Ban'. There was no grandfather clause. Every gun owner in Cook County, which covers Chicago, had 30 days to turn in their 'assault weapons' to the local PD to be destroyed (and you didn't get any payment for your guns either!). The *funny thing* about this Law is that basically NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT IT! There was one tiny paragraph about it in the Chicago Tribune I saw by pure chance. So now there's millions of 'law abiding Felons' (sarc) in Cook County (suburban Chicago) and they don't even know they are one!
And In New York City it was similar - Gun Loving Rooty (sarc) made the registration and approval process impossible for the average citizen(1). But 'The Donald'(2) and other NYC 'Celebrities' could still get their NYC gun license.
(1) a NYC FReeper lost (had to sell) all his guns thanks to Rudy's new registration requirements.
(2) Donald Trump packs heat. Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy? /s
