OVI, Mich. (AP) - A married Oakland County official who police say was caught having sex with another woman on the sidewalk in the Detroit suburb of Novi has apologized after pleading guilty in the case.
Republican Commissioner Kim Capello pleaded guilty this week to indecent exposure, which carries up to 93 days in jail. Sentencing is set for June 3.

I noticed “Republican” was clearly indicated at the beginning of the paragraph.
I assumed it meant that the woman was other than his wife. Of course, had it been his wife, he probably still would be charged. What I find sad is that, should he serve a full sentence, he will serve as long as Kwame Kilpatrick did for his perjury and the millions of dollars his actions caused the city of Detroit.
Okay. Since when is having sex on a sidewalk in Detroit a crime? I didn’t think there were enough people left in Detroit to call a sidewalk a public place, or if there were, they were too strung out to care.

Contrast this with the pervert friend of John Kerry, who used to be an Assistant Secretary of the Navy, who was caught with child pornography. Not only was there no mention of party affiliation anywhere (The only way you knew he was a Democrat was that people like Kerry, Carter and Barney Frank were sticking up for him.) Shameful. Simply shameful.
Yes Dems are calling for his resignation. Just sex, private life, etc., don’t apply in this case.
