The leaked CIA minutes of Congressional briefings on enhanced-interrogation techniques — more than 40 of them — show that leaders of both parties and members of the committees on intelligence got specifically and explicitly briefed on Abu Zubaydah’s waterboarding and other procedures used on high-value al-Qaeda detainees:

Here is video of a report last night on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow that talks about the Washington Post's story that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was briefed on "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" used against Abu Zubaydah all the way back on September 4, 2002, according to CIA documents. I know it is hard to listen to Maddow, but this report is good in that she plays an interview she did with Pelosi several months ago in which Pelosi flatly said she had never been told the techniques were being used on anyone. The Post report flatly contradicts what Pelosi said.
This is getting hilarious.

The MSM needs a way to diminish the queen-bee and elevate The Opossum. They might have it in this torture issue.
Just as with a multi trillion dollar budget, the dems continue to fail to read their own script.
This is what the Demonrats always do. They agreed to a “regime change” in Iraq, then condemned our President for changing the regime. That’s why they are called “Demons” and “Rats”.
And yet Bush the Weak let them pound on him about torture for the past 5 years, instead of releasing all this info and putting an end to it.

Bush, while he did disappoint me, was very strong in his own way. With a rabid Democrap Party and an even MORE rabid MSM, what good would it have done him to speak out? It would NOT have been covered and reported, or labeled as “whining by a weak man”.
The LEFT has been railing about “horrific tortures” for years, and time has revealed the truth..just as the passage of time usually does.
Look at Harry Truman, villified on the day he left office, and now rated, by TIME, as one of the best, even with his flaws.
Look at Roosevelt, worshiped and revered at death, and only now, time is showing a different truth.
Now the DEMOCRAPS are being shown up for what they really are. I don’t think that language is permitted here.
