Don’t bother coming to Oklahoma. No jobs, no work, no money here. Nothing but cows, dirt roads, and stinky old o’l wells.

I wonder when Barky starts to pay a political price? If Bush was in office people would be in front of the Whitehouse with pitchforks!

That’s a lower number than was cut in March. It seems to be on the right trend, no?

When Bush was President, every time the good employment numbers came out, a leftist friend just dismissed them by saying "People have given up looking for work".

But of course, I am sure this number is still Bush's fault even though, according to my leftist friend, he was responsible for every job loss during his presidency.

539K lost jobs and 8.9% unemployment — somehow this is called “recovery” and Dow futures are up over 100. Were Bush in office, the “media” would term this “spiraling unemployment with no end in sight.”

Although I nearly went broke trying to hold on to valuable employees during recession, as a business man now I would be shedding them. The risk is just too great.

Show them the door and if things don’t pick up or get worse I’m in tolerable shape. If things get better, hire some of them back.

Large companies need to cull the dead wood while also adjusting to a near term worse case.

I just love how AP reported this; “Unemployment Claims go down!”, which is a way to fake good news for Obama.
